As a falcon fan I feel much better about this season than last few seasons. We finally got 2 decent QBs . Better coaching staff . The Defense finally came along last season after being a Top 11 defense. I expect a deep playoff run . 🔴⚫️

Yeah the defense struggling at times wasn’t because of neilsen I thought he was a great coordinator. I think it was more on the fact the offense couldn’t stay on the field at all.

We are going to have above average pass rush from the interior D-line, Ellis out to OLB, Ebikeway, Rookie for the edge. Anderson will be back at ILB. Hellams will solidify the safety possition overall and we have to be picking up a half decent starter quality CB2 in free agency to help out Terrell at CB1. Nickle is fine. The whole D will benefit from not having to be on the field so much after numberous 3 and outs.

falcons had a horrible draft. Pennix is potentially a good QB, but wont be very good from the bench, should have drafted a playmaker on offense or traded down for defense.

Quite the opposite actually. Penix helps them now, just in case kirk reinjures his Achilles, and later as the future qb. Possibly in 2 yrs. They also went defense & offense in their 2nd, 3rd & 4th draft picks. Most of their offense came from the off-season(added onto what they already had) so they didn't really need much.

@@TopTackleFootball They have a great running game, they have some solid wide receivers and tight end with potential and had a good offseason, but they are lacking a big time playmaker wide receiver who can break the big one. London is a good player, Pitts is a guy with potential, but no they dont have too many playmakers, they have enough to be good, but they should have added someone like Odunze. If Cousins gets injured just like if Mahomes or Josh Allen or Joe Burrow gets injured all you need is a solid competent QB to help win a few games which Heineke is more than capable of. Pennix would have been an A+ pick if they hadnt gotten Kirk, but makes no sense to waste such a high pick on someone who may not see the field for a few years.

@@rickycurley159 No they got a receiver who people didnt even think was the best prospect on his own team, they drafted another running back, when they have two high quality backs already, they didnt get any help at corner, they may have reached on some defensive players, but yes the first pick was the most important and valuable and was used for a guy who will be on the bench maybe for years.
