It’s strange because I haven’t heard what you heard. That Morara is the president of GenZ. Of INJECT PARTY, yes. He also never claimed to be the leader of the GenZ movement, contrary to what many say. There is a difference between being in a movement and now running a political party. You can’t run a party without some kind of funding. Kenyans, also in diaspora, are generous to Morara because he represents them. That is not being greedy! A party apparatus requires means on another level than doing Vampire Diaries. GenZ say they are leaderless but no movement can remain without some kind of leadership to drive it forward. An example is the a human Rights movement in the US which had Martin Luther King as the driving force. Morara has basically followed the wish and the call of many Kenyans and made a political party of which he is the (expected) leader. He never claimed leadership of the Gen Z movement. If the movement wants to continue, which I think it absolutely should, it needs faces. It does need leaders. In Kenya it will likely come at a price. But Kenyans need to be guided. People need to be guided. That’s why countries have a leader. Some more competent than others.
