Netflix charges 500 per month in India whereas some OTTs gave membership for one year for that amount. Prime video only charges around 1000 rupees per years and with that we get amazon music free and prime membership on amazon too.

Just recharged my airtel number with 3000 rs for a whole year and got free hotstar sub for entire year along with 2gb data per day..... 😅😂 Maybe Netflix needs to join hands with Motta bhai so that on every Jio recharge for premium year, we get free Netflix . That way they can increase their subscription and remain in market because jio really has much bigger clients then airtel

The things which are making Netflix go down are: making films with directors like Karan Johar and star kids or we can say Netflix is investing on modern films and mostly focusing on Modern youth.. they don't have proper stories, music and actors.. and one more thing their subscription cost is high and Indian people don't like to pay that much amount on story less movies.. According to me Netflix should make movies a bit focused on Indian culture, should add that Desi touch which helps the audience to connect with their lifestyle... For ex Amazon prime Video focus is more on Desi.. series like Panchayat, Family man, mirjapur etc..

Netflix is at threshold after reaching 220M active subscribers globally. True, it's the costliest OTT service globally but most diversified entertainment player with more than billion users. Any tech company with such huge subscribers will face a threshold at this point irrespective of pros and cons. Even Amazon or Apple in that case lost subscribers as well as 40-50% market cap which is purely due to inflation fears and liquidity issues in markets. Netflix expected revenue for this year is 35B and profits around 8B with a decent margin and market share despite of fall in subscribers. It's going to improve the content reach and increase the revenue streams and comeback very strongly within couple of years. It's here to stay a long long time and trillion valuation is just a number within next 5 years for Netflix

Your analysis is wrong... We don't want masala films on Netflix but rather we look for relatable contents which link to our lives and suppressed by big business houses like Solomon bhai... E.g TVF.. they have brought excellent contents which link to our lives like Pitchers, Aspirants etc. Netflix went the wrong way and brought hinduphobic and Indiaphobic contents like Laila, sacred games 2 etc hence went down... Another thing they should do if they want to survive then start password sharing again...this will bring them lot of subscribers

Very too the point. Yes price factor is main one when compares it to annual subscription of other ott plateform. Prime increased 50% but one who is regular orders on Amazon gets free delivery so it's almost zero to them. Other ott plateform too give time to time offers of 30% to 40% discounts. In future we might see DTH player giving annual plans at cheaper rates to compete these ott plateforms.
