@@Maulstand It wasn't entirely her fault. It went both ways with the Jedi Council members and Ashoka. It was bad communication with one another and didn't report vital information to one another.

I really don't see how people can look at this many people dying, genocide, and be like "they deserve it" just bc they were flawed. They don't realize great people were lost with these "corrupt", "dogmatic", and "disconnected" people, which I wouldn't even call them that. They were simply shortsighted as many people are when they don't have the bigger picture the way people looking at the situation afterwards do. If anything, their destruction was their own fault and, perhaps, one of the best things to happen to the galaxy in the long run.

That's not unpopular. I think a lot of people think that way for a lot of different reasons. (Sorry this is long). The only reason I would say they had to end is they were flawed in a few small ways that stacked up and needed to change. Being limited to helping the Republic and choosing to not have a say in politics (among other things) probably could've been corrected another way, but destiny chose whiping the slate clean. *Mistakes:* I don't consider these flaws due to corruption, disconnection, or dogma, just shortsightedness, which is a flaw every sentient has. However I don't agree with those saying their end was a sign that they were bad and their was no other way to correct it. *-Hindsight:* We the viewers can see the bigger picture and say they had it coming, but they're limited to the view of their role and situation. To me Treya best represents fans view, we look at the story like a historian rather than a person living in that situation, and think it's so obvious. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWStnWuXhrSlh5Y *-Politics:* Even if they could sense the dark side around Palpatine, it would've looked the same as a mysterious, respected religion saying a legally elected leader is a demon for... reasons, they just feel it. Not publicly voicing their opinion on signs of corruption is a problem, but a hunch that the sith is near likely isn't as important to them as the reality that they should *try* to protect and enforce justice, but while Democracy is cool, being in some kind of contract with the Republic at all is understandable, but not the ideal position for the Jedi. But forgiving them for being flawed people, learning, and making a new life is the interpretation I'm going with. Emphasis on forgiveness. Recognizing good doesn't mean flawlessness, and flaws aren't a sign of evil.
