God, I am so very excited for this!!! A present day-set British nitty, gritty dark TV drama thriller starring Gillian Anderson!!! I know this is Series 2 and I've definitely seen Series 1 but I still cannot believe that for 5-weeks last year I watched Gillian Anderson of The X-Files starring in exactly the type of show that I always wanted her to appear in...and its produced by the BBC - extra win!!! I thought after the movie Straightheads in 2007 that would be it for Gillian in this type of drama ...but she's back!!! Again!!! Playing Stella Gibson for 6 weeks this time instead of 5!!! I have just watched all 15 episodes of bleak house over two days, starring the woooonderful Gillian Anderson. I can't for the life of me however, understand why she still insists of changing accents depending on which side of the pond she is. She is English, she has an English accent, why oh why put on the American accent just because she goes to the states? I know a huge fan base is over there who knew her from playing the American Dana Scully, but that was a character, surely she can be herself otherwise??

Well regardless, the point still remains when she's in England she speaks with an English accent?! So if she's American why do that?!

Hannah Forster She spent 5 years of her childhood in London. As you can imagine she attended school there. She returned to the US at age 11. Only to be mocked for her accent, which explains why she switches. She lives in the UK now...
