Buy spider killer spray, spray around windows and doors inside and out and especially around pipes that come out of the house like bath and sinks where the mortar may be aged and have gaps. You can buy insect bombs to let off in the house, they are like Roman candle fireworks but when you light the paper only smoke comes out. You have to leave the door to the room being fumigated closed for 2 hours, keep away from pets etc, I put a rolled up towel or blanket along the bottom of the door on the outside to stop any smoke escaping, they are very effective. We all know they kill other insects but if you have a terrible phobia it’s you or them!

If you see the spider bite you catch it or photograph it then its a confirmed bite and if need be can be treated as such
