So if you look at Sri and his wife's conversation's closely throughout Season 1 and Season 2, you can make out that Suchi knew about his job from early on that he was a field agent. But throughout the years I'm guessing Sri lied that he has shifted to a desk job from the field(you know like after their kids were born or something). So Suchi knew where he worked but she thought he didn't go to the field anymore.
