This cartoon adaptation always gave me The impression could have been the script for a great love action take on Shelley's classic; a period setting story with a contemporary Sci Fi twist as an alegory of the dangers of the misuse of Science & technology , doesnt the big explosion at the end could be a hint of the rising of the atomic age? And there are parallels between Doctor Robert Oppenheimer and the A bomb/ Victor Frankenstein and his famous homunculus

That was another classic, I like to think of it as an unofficial pilot for the Magoo series because it had him as a world famous actor recruited by Dick Tracy to impersonate another criminal named “Squinty Eyes”.
