From the very first moment of its history the store is not just a food store: it also includes fine dining restaurants and in some cases can serve as a grand hall for celebrations. The “Eliseevsky store” was opened in 1901. At first it was the palace of Russian princesses, then there was a literary salon, and at the end of the 20th century the building was bought by the millionaire Grigory Eliseyev. Eliseyev’s shop sold different products such as tea, coffee, delicacies and wines.
