We are extremely blessed to have some of the largest natural resource deposits in the world and we need to take advantage of this blessing if we want to become a stronger power on the geopolitical stage. That right there was me breaking this proposed law. First and foremost, the government should not and cannot be allowed to limit speech. Aside from free speech, this law does not make sense as expanding fossil fuel production has helped so many other countries improve the lives of its citizens and their national economy. However, the Canadian government has to resort to possibly banning discussion of the topic rather than pick their head out of the sand and support oil and gas.

Dad to say but I believe you may be right. The present authoritarian government shows no sign of letting up end indeed may actually be intensifying their dictatorial efforts. A simple look at the history of virtually any country will reveal that there are time which these types of actions resulted in revolutions. There are unbiased reports that show that CO2 levels can double to 800 ppm with little change in the earth's temperature. The big advantage is that plant life, and crops, will flourish as they depend on the CO2 for growth. The slight increase in the earth's temperature as a result, of about a half a degree C, would improve plant growth slightly as well. Less farm land would be required to produce the same amount of fruits, vegetables and grains. If these morons, the useless eaters that they are, owned a green house, all their plants would die.

In our society at present, many of these modalities take the form of products that are based on fossil fuels.We can't walk away, as individuals, from the products our society makes available. Instead, we have to cooperate together to make sure that what we produce and use is healthy and beneficial for us as humans living in a habitat we share with many other creatures.
