In class, we discussed how the end might be interpreted with a more sinister outlook. The references to her hair, being a sexual symbol, the farmer is advancing toward where she sleeps, where she is vulnerable, as the distance finally closes between them, as the farmer becomes restless. The increasing use of exclamatory phrases and the reference to God might imply the speaker's desire for divine intervention, in order for God to stop him from advancing anymore as impatience overrides his sanity. How far would you agree? (I also love your channel so much! You have really helped me for my exam tomorrow :D )
