I would like to point out that Elsa Schiaparelli was not a "surrealist designer". She designed creative, wearable clothes, and she showed a few surrealist-inspired pieces during the late 30s.

He worked extremely hard to show you the collection and he refuses to undergo any cosmetic procedure. Why should he anyway. It's his stylistic choice to show a bit of patina.
