Great video. It’s interesting how fewer instructors are teaching this these days. One other thing I’ve found over the years is that it seems, to me anyway, that it’s easier to control spin (i.e., not put too much backspin on the ball) and ball flight when you actually release your hands/wrists as opposed to releasing with just your body. It seems that’s been the case for me anyway over the years as I’d experiment with my swing.

Makes so much sense-- the club head has to move faster than the grip up the club-- which has to happen with a proper release-- which also means you have to have proper wrist/hands movement. It never made sense to me with most instructors who say "Body leads and Hands/arms are passive" that feel idea never made sense to me. The L to L drill realy helped me with this.

Still the arms and hands are never leading in the swing. Your body is the engine that initiates every movement in the swing. It doesn’t mean your arms or hands are passive it means your body has to set up your release.

Chuck been a RS member for a while and recently having had some back issues last few years RS system seems to be the answer for a back pain free swing as I move into retirement. 2 quick questions 1. Does the post up happen before the hands release the club or same time?2. Are shoulders square at hands release and hips open? Ty

Nice. Interesting thing is that Bobby Jones lets the left wrist break down more with a little less forearm rotation while tiger has very little break down on the left wrist and more forearm rotation. Your thoughts on this? Thanks

Watch the video on the site in the description. I spend almost an hour diving into the wrist movement

Yes but it seems to suggest little left wrist break down but Bobby jones seems to have quite a bit

@@trebor5760 both work. Depends on what shot shape you are searching for. The lower and more left to right you are looking for the more supination and bowing of the left

I have heard you say width gives you speed and I have also heard you say that keeping your hands in close to your body and making a smaller circle will give you more speed. Can you explain the difference?

Can you use the GOAT code if you’re lead side dominate? Do you have a video on lead side with the GOAT code?

The website is divided into lead side and Trailside patterns, and both are extensively covered in numerous videos. If you want to be lead side, dominant focus on the DEAD drill.

Are you hitting a ball with a lever or trying to spin in a circle as fast as you can? Hmmmm
