Can you elaborate on your Macbook a little? Intel, M1, M2? What cable did you use? I have an old 2015 Macbook Pro that has Thunderbolt 2 ports supposedly capable of 20Gbps, but the devil's in the details as to whether it could read/write to any of these SSD's at those speeds. Still trying to math it all out. 😀

I hope your channel grows bigger you are doing a great job. I’m looking for a ssd to edit my fcpx projects . I will probably get a 4TB ssd. Is the fastest one overkill on your opinion? I know is only like 100dlls over the x10

Thanks! I’ve been using the other ssds to edit videos on fcpx, and so far I haven’t had the need to use the pro g40 yet.

Wtf so if you have a full 1tb drive you can only transfer it 1-6 times... seems super inefficient tech.
