@Dalkora what the thought process behind the Tempers "Damage with Dual-Weild Weapons" over "Damage to Close"? Dmg to close % can roll so much higher?

Close vs Dualwield is a hard one, I personally went for the latter because the tornados are not always hitting "close" enemies and I wanted the best AoE clear for content like helltides. However either is perfectly good.

Would dust devil size be a good temper to pair with the devilish aspect? That's a potential 50%-100% increased damage, depending on how many tempers you take.

in the end game planner with uniques . u have no armor or res on gear in the gear stats portion of the planner and the pieces that would have res/armor in the mid game planner are replaced by unqiues with none . how do u get armor and res caps?

Tyreals might + gems more or less solves the issue of resistances, if you're struggling grab a resistance on your ring. As for armor, on a Barb you only really need one GA Armor roll somewhere, and I have it on gloves.

Wondering how the patch affects this build. Just started using it today. Edit: Also curious about how the Magnum Opus is useful as barb only ever seems to use 2H slashing in this build. To be fair though, I don't know the aspect/all affixes it has by heart.

How do u put tempers in uniques? this build sux alot in resistance if u use your set of items o mid game not the ubers...if u wanna use this build u need the ubers....otherwise u will stuck cuz the lack of res...try remake the mid>endgame game without lunging strike and put iron will with pants to set more protection in iron will and ultimate in left button..actually u dont use lunging strike in this build just one shout and spinning forever...right now i am tryng to fix your build to do 70+pits

@Dalkora, ever thought about arreat pants and ancestral echoes? I’m still levelling (lvl 66), but from what I can tell each ancient proc just doubles my ww damage, and having the ancient pump out dust devils gets me to the max amount without needing shouts, so you can keep them for those tough moments for that aweome one button Permaspin simplicity.

Nice build! I am running something similar. One question though, is putting points in whirlwind worth it since we're scaling the dust devils? My first build ive tried on my own and that was my thought process. I didn't put any points but the one in it.

@Dalkoragaming I also am running Grandfather and using it with whirlwind instead of dual wield, is this a mistake also? Sorry for all the questions, still learning lol.

Definately not a mistake to equip grandfather, but you’ll get the bonus even it you don’t swing it. Ramaladni’s is different in how it works, you actually need to ww with ramaladni’s to get the benefits. So you have 2 options: - use 2h sword ww (benefit is you get the 2h sword mastery so you have your source of bleed built in), and drop ramaladni’s for something else - use dw ww, keep the ramaladni’s AND the grandfather, but you’ll need to make shure you make enemies bleed another way (Dalkora uses the thorns passives, another option is to use the bleed enhancement on the ww skill)

As for how many points to add to ww, it’s up to you how to play that one, but the question here is: If you don’t pump ww direct damage, what to add in terms of aspects, paragon points,… if you look at the gear and skills alone on dalkora’s build, there’s the tuskhelm, ramaladni’s, thibaults,…. That only boost the direct damage of whirlwind. A 1 point whirlwind wonder build would have a totally different layout, as you’d need something different to scale damage on instead of ww itself. Thorns comes into mind, with needleflare, deathwish, and paragon board investments for that.

I went for attack speed on all pieces I can roll it as well as plenty movement spped, but my ww isn't nearly as fast and fluid as yours. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

WW does not scale with Atk speed, what your problem might be is resource generation

Tear 70 low lvl Kappa PS any hota/ hota overpower builds this season? i love this skill so much but it was nerfed and all i can find is with 3 shouts +bers but its like playing without 3 skills, they really need to move 3 shouts to 1 button lol.

Ya same here but i think armor is coming with more str stars on all str affixes and resists coming with some tempering and when we masterwork items we get more % of all affixes like str and resists

You can switch to double swing and keep most things the same. It is better for bosses. Still not as good as bash but you can push 70+

Bash is the easiest build imo for pitfarming up to like tier 90 if you don't have insane gear, at least i can farm up to tier 70 very comfortably and at tier 90 i can die if i don't pay attention on the boss.
