Yeah, hands/arms are the contact point for the ball and must lead the body, thus the robust landing zone following the arms is often the pelvis. However I think knee protection could still be a good idea after spending some time training to commit yourself to landing on the pelvis. Also, knee pads integrated into rash pad tights would make them stay put.

@@juliennees Most anime I watch, like "Dragon Ball Z", "Sword Art Online", "Akame Ga Kill", "Haikyuu", "Demon Slayer", "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?", "Hunter x Hunter" - all focus on improving one's self, usually through rigorous training. And oftentimes the protagonist experiences setbacks, but propels forward and progresses despite those setbacks. It's inspiring/motivating stuff, to say the least. It's like a self-help seminar in the guise of spiky hair and golden auras.

he will be perfect if he can make the ball a bit higher for the setter to adjust. Well Japan's setter was an ideal setter after all, he didnt care if the receive isnt good, as long as its high, he can make the best out of it. But kuddos to the libero, the reaction speed is something to be jealous off, his mind and body is obviously one.

I think cameras need a wider view lens thingy cuz since the camera's view coverage isn't that large unless they are filming something from far away like this camera here, which is probably filming somewhere near the stands or the commentators booth. Since the camera's view coverage is quite small, unless from a far distance, the camera can't keep up with the ball so when it tries to film fast paced sports like Volleyball, the moment something big like an incredible save happens, the camera moves to try and capture the moment or more specifically tries and watch(es) where the ball goes but because the ball is soo small and quite firm, add in the impact of the players as they hit the ball, it's basically a fast moving projectile. Imagine trying to keep your eye on a baseball throughout the entirety of the game from the pitch, to the hit, to the catch as it goes around the field, not an easy task considering it's such a small object. In other words, if the camera had a wider view coverage, it wouldn't need to move all over the place just to film where the ball goes since it's the point of the game because the ball is moving soo fast, the camera can't keep up, therefore, instead of a clear image of the player saving the ball, it's more of a blur than anything.

Volleyball is way different than this in Canada but I love it this way tho. If I were to play this style I would def want to be a setter. And god damn the libero is fast. 3:20 this legit reminds me of rolling thunder. Edit: Okay the way we learn volleyball is different but the play style with setters and spikers like that is still in Canada. But when we serve we always do underhand serves where in some countries its upper hand serves.
