What if you wanna play a healer? Basically ignore healing till max level? Or lvl with life staff/void gauntlet and put the dungeons?

Once you hit level cap leveling weapons becomes way faster due to every single mob in the games weapon exp having no penalty. So you can go smash level 15 mobs in 1 shot and get the full exp they'd give as if you were also level 15 at the time, or go AoE down elite mobs for tons of exp if the weapon allows it.

Depends on your build but yeah you’d want to run high focus if your main is the life staff and you use the void for its aoe buffs/debuffs. Can always supplement stats with foods once you enter the endgame so you can min/max another stat like constitution for survivability.

@Chooch Aroo yes and no. You can still use life staff even with zero points added in focus. It just won't be as effective. If you are speed leveling, you're just concerned with keeping yourself alive and getting some weapon xp on your life staff with each mob you kill. So you light attack once with your life staff to tag the mob, then switch to whatever combat weapon you're specced into to actual kill it. To speed level as a healer, you'll avoid expeditions until you hit max because they'll slow you down. Once you hit 60, you can hit the expeditions with fully maxed life staff

All good advice. Key is to NOT gather at all. In fact, don't even open chests. Stay hyperfocused on completing quests if you want to get to 60 in the first group. Nothing wrong with leveling slowly and enjoying the experience, but if fast leveling is the goal, then sacrifices must be made. If you gather and open chests, you'll get stuck with the main bulk of levelers and get slowed by competition for quest mobs.

Yes, when they make sense. Don't do side quests that expect you to loot from chests for the same reason you're not looting chests in general. Don't do side quests that involve running miles away from everything else. DO side quests that are bunched up in the sand areas as the main quests. Usually you'll get all the side and main quests done at the same time because they involve killing the same mobs.

You can turn PvP on and off while in towns. If you have it on, you get a loot and exp boost.

What's the point of a fresh start server if it's still the same core mechanics for gold distribution, war assignment, town ownership, taxes, RNG BIS crafting, all being run by shell companies, bots and gold farmers from overseas that cause lag and desync in everything you do?

@@SwoleBenji wont happen. New servers are x2 exp. People will hit max lvl easily. Fresh economy makes better game, even if game is exactly the same. Fresh start is literally why Path of Exile is a success. Many players who quit, like the changes, and wanted to come back refused to do so unless there was a fresh server. Even if gold is e z to get in old servers, no one wants to play a server filled with duped and exploited items, and have server run by guilds who used exploits to get gold during reduced tax, and so on.

The only server I've seen without these issues are the dead low pop streamer "Return to Aeterunum" servers or whatever, since most streamers refuse to cheat and because it's invite only and low pop there's no RMT to be made by dupers.

@@riothegod5750 in the defiance tree I use the roaring rupture that has some secondary ability you can get that adds lifesteal in the stance. And the other tree has one that roots them or heals depending on what stance U were in. I can’t recall the warhammer ability names rn. I’m not at my pc

It´s around 8+ serv atm in eu for my 3th carr. I agree with game zone reactions hear it´s just gona be more of the same people abuse and use exploits from difrent regions to get to 100% fast and gain territory and gear. What is gona happend is we get the same bs we had last year again and at start of 2022 no way around it ise q already on this serv haha what a joke so out of 8 its gona be 2 full in the end and the other are gona get merged in a 3th. What have they achieved with this nothing.

If you have a massive guild or a bunch of experience, why would you play on a fresh start server? The whole point of those servers is to bring back people that quit, because of those large groups and guilds ruined the servers for them.

lol, have you even played the game? If you have you should know that playing at least 6 hours per day is considered normal by most. If you're like me (20 hours per week or so after a long break from the game) you're considered to be very casual.
