I really hope the reward in infinite is the eternal effect (the blue flames from reach) or something like that because that's one of the only really cool things I think is reasonable to grind for, I'm at rank 145 and those last 12 ranks are all hundreds of thousands of XP the ladder half going into millions of XP.

I adore halo 5. Halo 3 is my most played halo, loved it competitively. Used to provide 50s for people for microsoft points lol. But I honestly like halo 5 more. It really feels like a modern halo 3. Its more like 3 than reach or 4. All the core mechanics from halo are in 5, just with more added to those mechanics.

If you like reach but not 5 and yet still bitch about the new mechanics in 5 you're delusional or being dishonest depending on your reasoning. So many people complain about sprint and clamber and ads in halo 5 but then say they like reach. And that's just purely a dishonest critique. Reach has armor abilities that are literally broken. The game doesnt even have even starts for God sake. It has bloom. Bloom in a halo game. Armor lock, a completely and utterly broken sprint, jet packs that break every single map and destroy trick and skill jumping completely. Armor lock is balancing breaking to this day even after update after update. Mlg thought the balancing was so horrid that they dropped halo alltogether. You cannot bitch about things like armor abilities in halo 5, while still saying you like reach.

Bob Dylan halo 4 was nothing like reach I could play for days straight and have halo 4 was so boring halo 5 campaign was horrible halo 4 campaign I had to force myself to finish it is definitely not even close to the greatness of reach and halo 3 and 5 custom and forge are the only things this game has going for it. Also I didn’t bitch about the mechanics it’s just not fun compared to the previous halos and halo 4 for me specifically I had less than 10 hours on it and halo 5 my hours are only custom reach I probably have a hundred hours on just the campaign. And comparing reach to halo 4 is like a war crime I can’t think of one thing that I can say I loved about halo 4 except for the boss they killed in a comic book

Tip: Use most of your req points on bronze, after a while to for silver, then gold. It's a great way to make the stuff you don't want not show up when opening say a gold pack

They said it will not be an exclusive armor so it sounds like they might give you maybe a head start on something but they don't want to reward p2w mechanics anymore and Vetoed learned this the hard way where he heard about the halo 5 level 152 reward in halo infinite and he spent a bunch of money on req packs and then found out there is no exclusivity. That's the problem of over-hyping the halo infinite news kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGLWkq2Efc-Nh6c At first it sounds great to give an exclusive armor but when you realize you can just pay a bunch of money for gold XP boosts to get you there really fast, then you realize it isn't so great. Also it gets harder as you go. 150 to 152 takes as much XP as 1-150. Fastest ways I have found are firefight, if you have a good team, go legendary or even possibly mythic but if you are solo and dont want to lose and get less go heroic FF. If you want to play social, go for infection and put on xp boosts like getting player kills and just learn from Eagle Precursor how to go 100+ kills a match. If you want to play ranked, go for SWAT is my preference for that playlist. Quick core and also intentionally losing as attackers on WZA also give you a lot of XP fast. Also the higher you go up, the more XP and Req points you get so save the XP boost for when you get to 151 so it becomes a breeze and just use your lowest req point boosts first out of all of them and then use every xp boost on 151. Also play in the playlist that is a special event *gold star* as they give out slightly more as well. That's my take on it.

Reached 145 last night, climbed from 130 over the course of a week. Mythic is pulling my ass out of the fire here. I've still got a lot of jackpots though I blew my legendary boosts on Heroic sadly. Once I run out of xp affecting boosts I'll just power for RP and buy up packs if I can. I've only spent money on the announcer pack for this game so if I can do it without paying some real cash I'll do it. I've got an eight month window for this, do if I power through and no-life it, I hope I can get it done by August, optimistically. I may be gambling and losing here, but if anything it's making me appreciate how a well-coordinated team can wipe in firefight.

I started grinding heavily not long ago and I'm rank 151 and 3 days ago i was 11,000,000 xp away from 152 and within 3 days i earned a million xp and sunday aka yesterday i earned 500,000 xp alone thx to xp boost and mythic firefight so if you grind like I'm doing and your 151 it's possible to hit max rank before September and i calculated that if i were to go for 200,000 a day starting today i will have max rank on September 10th and once i run low on xp boost i will hop on infection for a bit since winning an infection match can average around 8,000 to 10,000 xp without boost which is good

Yo, Infection will give you about 6-7k per match if you place 5-1st place. And you get 1.5k RP. And with the double XP you can get 15k.

When you hit max rank and you get an emblem, well it's not technically something to show off. What it ment to be is that if anyone wears it and someone looks at you're emblem, that person will say omg their is a max rank. How does he know Boom the emblem stands for max rank

At this time I'm in my 120's. I don't think I'm going to hit Max rank simply because I like to play too many other games as well. If you stuck to Halo exclusively and played quite a bit it's certainly possible, but judging based on Ubernick, he started a little into 150 and it took him about 5 months to finish getting to 152 and he gets to play a lot more than I do being a full time content creator. He even said he unfortunately missed out on a lot of games just so he could finish the H5 grind

Grind on warzone for like an hour and use the 10k reqs on silver so you can get more boosts and play super fiesta that's what I do and it gets me MILLONS

If you bought the xp bonuses I would go heroic, but if not either heroic or legendary. Legendary will give you a little more xp, but may take slightly longer and make you use more REQs

Put it this way dude. If you reach level 150 you're about halfway done. I'm level 146.. By my calculations if I earn 100k xp a day it would still take about 400+ days off hitting max rank. That's over a year.. And infinite is coming out this year. But getting 200k xp would halve the time.

Not true. I was at 130 last week and now I'm at 145. Mythic FF will go a long way with boosts. You just need to be patient and dedicated. If you can manage at least 180k xp a day you're golden. Boost boost boost.

There's nothing wrong with a ranked playlist, however if you play OG Halo thru even Master Chief Collection, there's and unranked slayer playlist. I'm all for a ranked playlist, but if I want to screw around with plasma weapons I lose rank and get punished. Separation is key which is the reason CoD matchmaking is in turmoil
