There's a difference between retirement and stepping back from work, farmers rarely retire 100%, more likely to take the odd day off and slow down gradually.

Tom you should get a three prong bale grab with like a big frame and pre stack them into threes and then there is less chance of the bale going soft or bursting and if you. Load the trailer the other way not with bales horizontally you can pick up three at a time when unloading trust me I shifted about 680 rye straw bales

Great video tom what you could do to store all your bales is build a bale shed next to the slurry pit where all your old machinery and tyres used to be and then build a little side shed as a wash station and so when the bale shed is empty you can store your machinery in there

That is 6 foot stray bales . We have some farmers do bigger bales 6 foot around here and some do regular size bales or big round bales or small round bales. Here in Central Indiana We rotate field’s . Because crop rotation helps to manage your soil and fertility to reduce erosion, improve your soil’s health, increases nutrients available for crops to grow healthy.
