I really can't possibly blame Ning's father for not liking Xie Wei. 😂😂 And for once the father has good eyes when it comes to approving a love prospect for his daughter. Zhang Ze was indeed a great man. Besides the father is also right with the fact that his older daughter did find herself a good man since the prince was really kind. It was such a pity she married as concubine and not the legal wife. 😢

Wait a minute, how much does Jiang Bo You really know about Xie Wei? He knows that Xie Wei is the princess' teacher and a trusted official of the emperor, and therefore a very influential man at the court. We, not him, know about his illness or connections with the rebels. So I don't really understand his take on the matter, does he mean that Xie Wei kissed her on the forehead? This guy here, i think it s the second time he falls in love with bai lu but none of them are successful. How unlucky he is in the name of love. If i am not mistaken he is also in deep love with bai lu in one and only the series. So pity young man😂

Zhang Ze it's emotionally mature and stable, has great sense of justice, respects the woman he loves, respects her personal and emotional space, treated all people politely regardless of status, has a calm personality, is down to earth, is hardworking, smart, intelectual, sweet and sensitive. Xie Wei it's cruel, ruthless, calculating, controlling, manipulative, volatile, abusive, toxic, regarding human beings as pieces of chess, thinks of the woman he says he loves as his property, is jealous, doesn't trust anyone, doesn't respect female lead personal space and emotional space ever. He is indeed smart however as a romantic interest he is a huge walking red flag! I think the choice would be evident, Zhang Ze it's an amazing man. ❤ And I totally understand why Ning father liked him to be a potential son in law.
