My friend's handyman had a dog that was so heavy, he actually had to carry it everywhere. Ultimately had to be put to sleep. I told her she needed to report him and his wife for animal abuse, but she didn't. So sad.

Oh my goodness! I had no idea that there are fat animals in the wild! I once had an adorable cat who weighed 22 pounds and lived to be 16 years old. We really didn't over feed her though she did get the occasional human food. She was a Maine Coon and they are larger breed. At any rate, I told the vet my cat had her mother's metabolism. BTW, I'm her mother. 😂

All of these are animal abuse except 1, I was surprised to see an overweight wild animal tho!
