Very true but the biggest mistake of the Rawlings era is that the intellectuals who supported him to rule never helped him establish great institutions to help fight corruption and understanding of nationalism. If that had been done, we would have been better forever. Rawlings had that chance but that did not happen. Everything was centralised on him. There were not trained future leaders after him. Non of the NDC leaders who came after him stood for anything he believed in.

And suggest all " SMALL SCALE MINING" be " BANNED" for at least 5years. Then, the proper methods of mining, which figures like " Sir Sam Jonah, Esson Benjimen them, can be allowed to practice the modern and traditional methods which had not destroy our forest & water bodies. But, the present 1992 CONSTITUTION , has given all powers to the First Gentleman of the Land, thus the President.
