I am so sick of kol perpetuating the idea that garp and sengoku needed to team up to beat shiki. if theres 2 cops trying to arrest a criminal and the criminal is fighting back, do you think the other cop is going to just sit back and watch them duke it out because "my partner can beat him 1v1" or do you think the 2 cops are going to team up to restrain the criminal as quickly and efficiently as possible? they did not need to go 2 v1 to beat shiki, they did it so they could finish the fight as quickly as possible. we didnt see the fight, it happened off screen, and we never got an indication that it was a close fight. if luffy fought shanks and mihawk off screen and lost, would you assume that luffy is now so strong that shanks and mihawk had to team up to beat him, or would you assume he got his ass handed to him because he challenged shanks and mihawk to a 2v1? literally think about it for 5 seconds and you'll realize how stupid that sounds.

Let say 20 years ago Garp has 100 stamina, to use galaxy fist requires 15 stamina (pretty sure this is not Garp's ultimate attack) and now Garp is much older he only has 60 stamina, not because someone is old doesn't mean their power gets lower too, Whitebeard on the marineford war only has like 30 stamina and all his attack requires a lot so he easily get tired and Whitebeard is much older too. My point is, Garp can still attack like he is on his prime the problem is the stamina cap.

KOL deserves this huge L. Few facts cleared for Garp Haters after 1080: 1. Sengoku Saved Akainu at Marineford. 2. This is the single greatest CoH infusion attack we have seen. Garp is clearly 100s of metres above land and he haki punched the air and the subsequent shockwave destroyed a major portion of the city. Now to the folks who think Garp needed Sengoku to fight Shiki - Garp never needed Sengoku. Shiki invaded MF to fight.... not to declare war and as a marine their duty was to protect MF and minimize damage. The context matters. Do you think Sengoku would just sit idle and let Garp go crazy at MF fighting Shiki....NO.....he wanted to end it quickly. That's why he joined the fight. Just cuz something happened in a certain way doesn't necessarily mean it has to be that way.

I also think we will see the full potential of the quake quake fruit through blackbeard. For example whitebeard has not shown any named attacks but he fits a trope of a really strong character that doesn't have any named attacks or until much later. Blackbeard has the first named attack and conqueror's haki attack using the quake quake fruit and I would assume we will see much more. I can't wait until blackbeard goes all out and stops being the scared or easily deterred villain. He is smarter then he looks but I want him to shit on people with ease. I also need to see more from garp against top level people at least commander level but it is finally nice to see garp do something and we need to see what happened at the god valley incident and many more fights throughout the series that weren't shown. Too bad we won't be able to see a lot of strong people go all out that is one thing I hate about one piece.

Then later on we found out he is a yonko which in the world of one piece means that you are extremely strong and that title of yonko holds a lot of weight. Then we see him talk to the gorosei and we see his bounty. Then as the story goes on we see more of shanks and we eventually see feats like what he did to greenbull and kidd. We also learn more about his powers and his crews powers. Now with grap in the pre time skip he barely did anything but now we actually see for the first time in the post time skip him do a named attack and that named attack has conqueror's haki. Yes garp fought roger and rocks but we need to know more details. I would like oda to show us the serious fights between garp and roger and garp and rocks and the laid back fights etc.

Never was said, that Roger defeated Rocks alone, only implied, that it was one of the most strongest enemies he encountered. But series also told us, that Garp is that man too, pirates feared him, Chinjao literally said, that Garp was the nightmare of most pirates in their days, and Garp alone made pirates on Marineford nervous, that even Whitebeard had to downplay him, just to boost their moral. The haki lightning from this attack is at minimum equal in size to the lightning from Kaido and Luffy's final clash (the lightning is the size of buildings in that final panel), and it was stated that if Momo didn't get Onigashima out of the way, the Bajrang gun would wipe out Onigashima. So Garp's power is no joke, since the shockwave from that attack alone wiped out at minimum the center of that town. A direct hit might have been able to wipe out the whole island, though Garp obviously wouldn't do that while there are slaves, his own marines, and of course Koby on the island itself. I think Garp is still Yonko level. He might be on the lower end of that range now that he's older, but this feat is still well beyond anything we've seen some a yonko commander.
