Clearly, the Word of God, delivered in one’s native tongue, strikes the heart with special power. It is the reason the work of Scripture translation is important. And it is also why the principle of heart language is at the center of our work at FEBC Philippines. Across the Philippines at least 170 languages are spoken. Our stations in Mindanao, for instance, carry programs in Cebuano, Hiligaynon and other Visayan languages. In Koronadal city, our station also broadcasts in the languages of the Tiruray, Kalagan, Manobo, and T’Boli. 1062 DXKI Koronadal or “Your Friendly Voice” ( / 1062dxkifebcradio ) was the first station to be set up outside Metro Manila - sixty years ago, in 1964.
