If immigration is to blame for the rise in unemployment rate, how come unemployment rate is abruptly picking up when immigration has been markedly slowing down? And why was the unemployment rate so steady last year when there was far more immigration than this year? The immigration excuse just doesn't add up.

I think he's dead on, talk about an overreaction. It's like calling an ambulance for a paper cut. We had multiple days of the Dow closing 600-700 points up all because people were anticipating a 25 basis point cut in September, give me a break. I'm a long term investor, enough of this kneejerk reaction nonsense.

maybe, but it is the first time in my area that houses are on the market for weeks and some for over a months now. Spring there were none and if any popped it was sold in days.

my big multinational corporation have had well over 4 thousands openings just few months ago, now it is below 1000, so scary momentum is there.
