Fed doesn't set rate, they follow the bind market. Fed can't cut because we keep spending. That requires a higher interest. Treasuries fault, not the fed

This is crazy talk. Inflation is very real and problematic still. If they cut rates we will have a full second wave of out of control inflation.

@@Chris-xv7wd Well people said they could never get to 5% on the fed funds rate, they did. Then they said the fed is being too aggressive and going to break something, the most predicted recession that never came. Unemployment is at historic lows, the stock market at new highs, the fed is comfortably holding rates where they are, with telegraphed cuts on the horizon. They seem to be doing a much better job at staying in control. Imagine telling people in 2022 back when QT started that this is where we’d be! They wouldn’t believe you 😂
