The personal aoes, as well as the aoe floor circles will rot the outer wall sections if you hit them. Try to save as many wall sections as possible for the knockback attacks so you don't have to run all the way across the stage.

I just did it first try with Trust thanks to your guide. This was the most amazing boss fight I've had this whole game so far, thanks to the music. My nostalgia is strong. ;___; If I'd wiped I wouldn't even have cared if I could listen to that music while battling some more. =)

I swear are striking gear (besides of the accessories) even existed? I'm nearly 50x farming this dungeon and NEVER got a single drop until now, it's always fending/casting and mainly maiming gears.

It's after Endwalker is complete. you get random quests after that. This dungeon starts with the first quest with Estinien to find Alzadaal treasure which then rolls into In Search of Ajdaja where you can then do the dungeon
