What is she so surprised about? He does photograph and landscape photographers get up at some ungodly hours and in some ungodly temperatures to capture sun-rise or dawn photographs or photos in the blue hours (the one hour before dawn and the one after sunset.) I'm not a morning person at all, but photography is one of the few things I might get up from bed at 4:30 or 3:00 AM. I love night photography, very challenging but it really allows you to play with the light. I also do wildlife photography, especially birds, aviation photography as well as landscape and architecture. And the very occasional portraits for the family. Another thing, walking is best for photography, as it allows you to move somewhere at a slower pace, and with open eyes, seeing more photo opportunities. And some of my best photos have come from unexpected chance photographs as well as hard work and dedication, going out in weather that some would rather not be in. And yeah photographing calms me down, grounds me and I've done the same when I can't sleep at night, either work on my photos, sorting, developing and deciding which to keep, or actually go out and photograph. Especially when Dawn was approaching. For most people his behaviour is weird, for a photographer, it's normal! ;)

​@@bendoe5863Oh, sorry, I was talking about her overly suspucious/comic relief assistant.😉 And the backpack is a dead giveaway, it's a camera backpack and rather heavy duty for it's size, as good photography gear for low light situations can be quite heavy for it's size. The only unrealistic thing was that he wasn't wearing his chest and waist straps....😄....we do wear them all the time to spread the load evenly. Otherwise all the weight will be hanging off your shoulders, which is very uncomfortsble after an hour or two.
