This is the third review I have seen for this guitar and by far the best. The tones are great and you did an excellent job showing and describing all the features. It seems like Fender has really did a great job on this and the other Acoustasonic guitars.

Hey Chris - thanks! And yes, Fender did an AMAZING job on this series and this guitar is no exception. Besides the lack of USB rechargeable battery and two less pickup selection pairs, the only thing they stripped down was the price! Thanks again ~ Doug:)

I agree Chris, and I think I watched a dozen of these reviews. This was the best demo. A lot of players really think these sound terrible, and I just don't get what the problem they have is with it. (I picked one up and I think it sounds great.)

THANKS Brad - appreciated! I spent a lot of time playing (and loving the American) Acoustasonic Jazzmaster, so from that perspective I was delighted (for lack of a better fitting word) with this guitar! And yes, the price point is a big part of the appeal. Thanks again ~ Doug;)

I just got mine. A really nice guitar except for the fretwork which is the worst I have ever seen. Sharp edges everywhere. I had to do more than an hour of work of filing and sanding to make it somehow acceptable. Not what you would expect from a €1100 guitar. The person from the quality department was probably on holiday that day. However once the job is done it will make you a very versatile and great playing guitar. My other guitars are now reduced to dust collectors

Hello. I have no guitar. I do film music. Does this guitar sounds better than a lava me 3 for example ? I don't know what to buy as a first guitar 😕 and can I connect it directly to DI input of my Apollo Twin X ?
