@@nidhishshivashankar4885 conditioning - if they press sweep (under jabs) or 1 into guaranteed shoulders on hit, if they duck, 2,2 or 1+2, if they hold back (1+2 is safe and gives a nice combo at the wall, 2,2 is punishable), sweep, 3 for plus frames (both can be interrupted e.g. by fast mids though), backturned/regular throw mixup (the animations from backturn are the same for all throws). The best way to counter it is with movement so very good players can nullify a lot of it, but it's still strong if you don't overuse it. There's more advanced stuff, you can use generic d 4's, backturned hopkicks, , acess crouch dash moves... just try to play around with it. Some of my favourite ways to access it is after 112 (10f punish) and SS2 (plus on block high), a lot of people will also allow you to do BT stuff after the 1,4 string even tough it's not that great frame wise. A lot of options are risky but it's a fun stance.

MainMan replied with "I'm sure you can master all the knowledge of Kazuya but at a certain point you will have to learn how to electric properly." Im not super good player, but i always knew that Feng is godlike, and didnt really understand why everyone downplayed him in tierlists till like 2 months ago, yeah, he had terrible wall carry, but in my opinion that was his only weakness, everything else is flawless
@aesonone3 жыл бұрын
quite sidesteppable, kinda bad keepout, kinda bad approach (either risky or linear or slow or doesn't give much dmg), bad WS punish, terrible hopkick, doesn't have those nuts CHs giving nuts combo damage like what TMM calls "t7 style" characters, can't really afford to rely on launchers all day like many others can. don't get me wrong, this is good design because it's balanced with what he's good at, and what he's good at he's very good at (poking, interrupting pressure, some trickery and setups, dealing with other tricksters, evasion, capitalizing on lack of knowledge etc). if you look at the raw data you can't really say he's a MONSTER, i think it's more like - if his stuff works it really looks like you're absolutely trampling fools
@chellejohnson97893 жыл бұрын
His combo damage wasn't super good until that patch 2 months ago. He was still really strong, but I think that's what tierlisters care most about. Hence why Akuma and Geese are always so high
@megadrillubreaker88173 жыл бұрын
Feng is very weak to side step left. A single back dash make his backturn stance nearly useless. His fastest launcher is his hopkick, which has no range. Same with his ws launcher, it can't connect with many moves. Feng needs to be in range 0 to be effective, but he doesn't have a lot of good moves to approach (except ws1). That's why he is not godlike.
@chellejohnson97893 жыл бұрын
@@aesonone that's fair. Alot of the reason people keep eating iron shields is because even high ranks throw out random jabs on quick recovery moves or while at minus simply because they're only thinking about punish frames

For those who don’t know, Knee’s tier list is based on how well characters do in FT2 offline settings, NOT on who are the strongest.

Those two things are pretty close to synonymous

@maxliu30413 жыл бұрын
@@lucastonoli3256 when you're talking about which character is "the strongest" i usually view it as the most effective at pro level play in a tournament, because at any other level, matchup inexperience plays too much of a factor to judge which character is the best. Even when looking at ft10s a tier list shouldn't drastically change although i can accept that slight changes will occur as some characters do get worse over long sets
@lucastonoli32563 жыл бұрын
@@maxliu3041 It's way different on a FT10, you get more time to figure out patterns, characters with bigger tool boxes are better there than on two matches. Being the strongest at tournament level doesn't matter much online, some shit that works/is harder to counter online, wouldn't do shit offline (if you check character usage and rank statistics for online ranked mode vs. top 8 on tournaments, you will see differences). Hence why the "strongest" at top level tournament isn't the same for the other conditions.
