My problem with APC and Tinubu gang of Leaders is not buying or not buying Plane. My problem is that this APC government since 2015 has no priority lists for this country. We have renovated Presidential and VP lodges, bought new Toyota jeeps, built National Assembly Library and Car park, the lists goes on all with borrowed FUNDS.The question is, what do Nigerians want? Our ruiners have refused to answer this question because we don't matter to them.

While we are exploring financial solutions and alternatives for the procurement of a presidential aircraft, basically a jetliner, we have left a vital option. I suggest we sell off the Jets currently in the fleet and use the proceeds to buy a brand new plane for the president. Why keep old unserviceable aircrafts in the fleet and go ahead to buy new ones and add to the unwieldy fleet that costs the country so much to maintain? If Peter Obi were to be the president, we know he will make a lot of sacrifice to save costs and channel the scarce funds to more important and critical sectors for speedy national economic development like security, agriculture, health, education, energy and others that will bring about poverty alleviation. This Tinubu administration is not doing anything to slash down the cost of governance. They are busy looking for ways of extravagantly spending our scarce resources. Why spend ₦90b for Hajj, ₦21b to complete VP's official residence, ₦15 trillion for a needless Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, and other profligacy?

There are commercial planes of similar or older age which have significantly higher usage to date that are still more air worthy. If the presidential aircraft is old, it should be replaced. It is a top national security issue. The crash of the presidential aircraft of the Rwandan president and his resultant death was what led to the crisis and war that engulfed that nation. However, this does not take away the fact that this government is very wasteful. Spending N21bn for the residence of the vice president is wasteful. They could have purchased a presidential aircraft with that fund. The existing villas within the Aso Rock complex could have served the purpose of housing the VP and his family. This administration is very wasteful.

What is on the ground here isn't hard at all, for the love of our beloved nation and people of our great let NASS and the State government make statutory contributions for their principal - the President. In a situation where over 130 million citizens have been unwillingly subjected to multidimensional poverty within the last 8 years. I know how many times Obasanjo travelled abroad on commercial flights. When senate under the leadership of Dr. Chuba Okadigbo were delaying to approve buying new aircraft for the president. A man who has clean hands can travel to anywhere on commercial flights while efforts are made to get him a new one. Secondly, there was no call for replacement during PMBs regime, so you wouldn't know if he would have said the same thing he's suggesting now. Thirdly, you're still playing the ethnic card. Can Nigeria's economy as it is afford another set of jets for the president ? What would the effect be on the economy?
