I've ran into quite a few people wearing Slayer shirts that know nothing about the band as well. This figure turned out great. I wish Neca was making the rock/metal Ultimates instead of Super7. I imagine they would kill it with Papa Emeritus and King Diamond. And I absolutely agree with you about Metallica. Not only are they my favorite band of all time, but Garage Inc. definitely turned me onto other bands.

I'm actually in it because of the oldie series 'The Crimson Ghost', that is the character the Misfits mascot is based on. Great review! (I'm also hoping for an Ultimate Eddie though, especially if it's the classic Killers-era!)

I grew up with American Psycho and Famous Monsters. So I'm 100% a Michael Graves guy. However, I did go back and I love the Danzig era. I am also one of the few that love the Jerry Only albums. I guess you could say "I'm all in."

Static Age is probaly my favorite recordings. it just sounds so raw and punk. someone one time described the Misfits as "Elvis singing about horror movies in a punk rock band." lol

I remember getting monthly subscriptions to Lee's Action Figure News and Toy Review in the late 90's and early 2000's and that's where I heard about them. Never listened to the music but they had action figures back when the toy collecting market really took off.

On Collection 1 and 2, the songs are rerecordings I think. I noticed that a few songs sounded different on the collections compared to their respective albums.

Just seen them in Tampa with Danzig . After so many years it was a dream come true. First seen them in 97 . Not with Danzig but Graves. Of course Glenn days are my fave. Always will be a fan . Fiend forever. Their skull logo is from a 1940s serial called the Crimsom Ghost. It's a fun watch

I believe that the cell shaded head is the same one that's on the Christmas fiend. That was released a year or two ago. I think that's why the head looks bigger. Also I'm waiting for my Danhousen to get here to hang out with this dude! Lol

How do people not know Motorhead?! Lemmy had one of the greatest voice ever! Love Metallica. Their version of "Breafan" on their Garage Inc is one of the best. Awesome fact, Budgie, the original band behind the track "Breadfan" came from my town here in South Wales UK!
