The Fife Circle: Glenrothes to Edinburgh via Cowdenbeath

In this video, we're completing the journey we started earlier ( • The Fife Circle: Edinb... ). Heading back around the other side of the Fife Circle from Glenrothes, through Cardenden, Lochgelly, Dunfermline and Rosyth before rejoining the mainline at Inverkeithing and returning to Edinburgh via the Forth Bridge.

I used to do this route all the time from Dunfermline To Edinburgh Waverley On The Class 170’s And 158’s. It Has to be one of my favourite routes!

Rail companies tend to be concerned that videos like this might be used for route learning purposes by some of their drivers, and that they might convey some inaccurate information. Therefore videos like this are not allowed to be made without the sound being turned off.

That's not the case, John. It's for privacy reasons, and the risk of distraction to the driver knowing that their voice is being recorded. We've actually recorded several videos like this to assist drivers with familiarising themselves with various routes. ^Angus

There's a problem with the framerate probably to do with KZbin compression. Maybe Scotrail could consider re-uploading this.
