Just gotta say, Turk is the lowkey Stan Lee of the MCU shows. He's in each show, even if it seems like he shouldn't be. Sure, Claire and Karen and Foggy are there, but that's only because they are direct support characters to the mains. Turk is in each show for a smidgen of time. Like Stan Lee.

I think the bigger problem with trying to hide Matt's survival is that nobody would buy it for very long. We'd know the second there was a casting call or a set photo or even just because they already announced a third season. You can't make a whole season of television in secret like that, and that's assuming people wouldn't just call bullshit at a glance anyway. It's Infinity War Syndrome: we know the behind the scenes stuff well enough to know when a death won't stick.

That Bullseye idea is GENIUSES!!! However I think that instead of having the Hand as the villain, they should have had the Hood. The Hood could have been a new mob boss who is basically doing everything the Hand was at the beginning, except he's just collecting magical items (rather than the infinity stone like the comic) to make himself more powerful. The items he already has makes him strong enough to duke it out with Luke, turn invisible so only Daredevil can actually fight him, fly for quick escapes if he needs (only Jessica could chase him) and shoot red lightning which can counter the Ironfist. Boom! Powerful, intimidating, villain who has a power set to match the defenders on the few occasions they do fight.

You don't even need the bullseye reveal. You added a three minute scene, which could easily replace the credit scene of Daredevil being alive. So, if you instead just cut to credits as per usual for Netflix without the extra reveals for upcoming seasons this one little change has major ripple effect and doesn't mess with the format. We the audience see that Fisk orchestrated his two greatest rivals/threats into destroying one another and managed to come out of the situation with not one but both (seemingly) dead. We would still keep the other defenders talking about his mission and where to go next but we can see in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage (season 2s I mean) that they aren't the right people to take up that fight. It would be a more demonstrable case than merely telling us. And all the while have Fisk consolidating power in DD's absence, but do it in the background since those shows aren't where you show him really taking over. Then when Daredevil does come back, as we always knew he was going to (what hero stays dead), we feel it like the defenders feel it. Anyway, great change as always.

After watching DD season 3, I am kinda iffy on this whole idea. I’m aware that it wasn’t out yet when this was uploaded, but it kinda throws a wrench in s3. I like the idea for Bullseye though. How it would have played out: Fisk’s men are in a truck, leaving the hand’s building. Then, the FBI shows up, as they believe these men to be body-guards for the hand. Dex pops out of a car, and the scene plays out as you proposed (minus Fisk). That woulda been freakin cool.

You should make a change to Luke Cage season 1 & it be that the second half villain isn't that corny forgotten brother crap but Suwande (the black guy from The Hand). It drives home that the Hand are everywhere & dangerous + Suwande replacing Cottonmouth & escaping at the end leading into the Defenders would have really showed how badass he & The Hand are. Cottonmouth being "afraid" of that cornball villain at the end of season 1 was lame but him fearing a supposed Immortal African Warlord/Druglord....Now that's badass.

Imagine if Luke's father reconnected with him after the events of Defenders and THEN that's when Diamondback shows up as well. I know other people have said this, but I definitely was expecting you say The Punisher, given his history with Daredevil it makes sense. If The Punisher was in this scene, it would probably start with the ninjas approaching the team but daredevil notes someone else is present. Suddenly a whirling sound is heard, everyone looks across the room to see the Punisher standing in the doorway with a Minigun and effortlessly mows down the ninjas. After some near-hostile banter between the Punisher and the defenders, the punisher reminds them that reinforcements are on the way and if they don't go do what they came here to do he'll take them down and go do it for them. At which point the teams heads down as the Punisher readies his Minigun for the impending waves. Definitely would have been a way to tie the spinoff to the mini series and finally see The Punisher with the the iconic Minigun that is constantly teased for Daredevil

My main problem with Marvel's Netflix mini-verse is lenght. I watched Daredevil Season 1 and it was good, it set a lot of mood, expectations, it stayed just long enough to show what it had to show. Every subsequent show hasn't had the same amount of stuff to show, but was contractually obligated to be as long. Jessica Jones? After 6 or 7 episodes they had Killgrave locked up and with absolutely no reason not to finish the season there, but they go out of their way to make every other character as incompetent as humanly possible, because they still had half a season to go. Luke Cage came around, and it has a lot of drama and weight in the interpersonal scenes. People have motives and conflicts and yes, that is interesting, but Luke Cage doesn't need more 1 or 2 episodes for the people to get he is bulletproof. What we get is half a season of people shooting a man that can't be damaged, and then half a season of a man that CAN hurt him, but isn't as interesting (I'd even say under developed). And then there's Iron Fist... Oh boy, Iron Fist. Iron Fist couldn't do anything right. Perhaps the focus that should have the most focus on peace of mind and intense action was the one where the people were the stupidest and the worst fighting scenes with excessive cuts. It had maybe 4, 5 salvageable episodes worth of content in it. And the problems weren't really solved when the series started rolling their second seasons: Daredevil 2 is literally a good half and a bad half. The parts with the Punisher are gold. The parts with Electra are painful. The drama just isn't well executed, and the two parts don't really mesh well together. Punisher is probably the second best one at doing everything after Daredevil. It takes just about as much time as it needs, but I don't think it knows very well what kind of message it is trying to preach. "Dialogue about gun control", probably, but I'm not sure it is good at being either pro or con. Jessica Jones 2 is worse than 1. There is significantly less stuff happening, they gloss over more interesting stuff and prolongue mysteries that aren't really mysteries. The hook for season 3 was a LOT more interesting than 3/4 of the whole season. (And I'm not really a feminist, but a show made by women for women has a whole lot of objetification going on in it, just saying) Luke Cage 2 improves a little on season 1. It solves both problems it had at once, by having a villain that is as deep as the good ones from season 1, and still can fight Luke, like the bad one from season 1, FROM THE GET GO. It has stakes, it has plot, it has drama. But then it falls into Jessica Jones season 1 problems. The show doesn't need much more than 8 episodes to do what it needs to do. So you feel bored at times. There is a lot of nothing going on this show. I guess my whole point is... You are making shows for a "on demand" plataform. Drop the formula. Don't make 13 episodes because you have to. Don't make it 1 hour long because you have to. Tell your story. It's ok if one episode is 15 longers than the other. It's ok if you deliver one less episode compared to last season. I'm still waiting to see what they'll do for Iron Fist 2. Part of me fears the worst, but another part of me laughs at the concept of them being able to fail harder than season 1. Whatever it is, it probably won't be worse than Agents of Shield.
@seanberdo53806 жыл бұрын
jpcsdutra dont you disrespect Agents of Shield like that... How much of it have you seen ? Season 4 has three different plots and they're all interwoven greatly and build up on each other. Also, i get most of your criticism about the Netflix Shows but if you dont like them you dont have to watch them, you know ?
@jpcsdutra6 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry if you like Agents of Shield, but no, god no, the show is horrible. Season 1 was fine and ended in a great plot twist, that season 2 was ultimately incapable of following up. It only goes down hill, and the Inhumans plot is absolutely unbearable. They can't write Daisy/Skye for nothing, she comes off with a terrible case of Mary Sue. I tried watching the show 3 times, and I dropped it 3 times, no one should have to sit through 2 terrible seasons to get some enjoyment out of a possibly "good" fourth one. As it is, to me, this show is less interesting than Supergirl. And criticism doesn't mean I dislike the shows. Actually, if you interpret my text right (even though I didn't proof read so it is full of stupid mistakes), I like pretty much half of what I saw. Enough for me to watch two seasons of everything they released, and enough for me to try watching third seasons (At least for Daredevil and Luke Cage)

You probably could do that in just one scene. The only thing that needs fixed there is to make the Lonely Place of Dying connection less vague than just a vandalized Robin suit. Weirdly, I think a conversation between Superman and Alfred would've cleared that up no problem. "He hasn't been the same since Jason died.." *stares forlornly at the suit on display* Bruce is clearly more unstable and is going way farther than usual because of that, and we get a nice moment of characterization for both Clark and Alfred. The amount of sound made by a firearm with a suppressor varies widely and is dependent on the caliber of the weapon and the speed of the ammunition. A 22 caliber (pistol or rifle) with a suppressor makes about the same sound as shown in some shows or movies. A 9mm with subsonic ammo is also surprisingly quiet. The only reason a firearm with a suppressor isn’t very quiet is either a result of larger calibers and/or supersonic ammunition.

Hey Nando! I absolutely love your videos! They're fantastic! Could find a fix for season 1 of Runaways? I thought that show was absolutely littered with problems so it might be hard to find just one fix, but my biggest problem was the absolutely unnecessary love pentagon between all the Runaways except for Molly. It added nothing but pointless drama.

Thanks. That's a good question. Runaways was tricky. I thought the ending was very flat.

Okay, easy. Instead of Old Lace just showing up at the end, it turns out that she had run to Molly. After all, in this universe, she's also a dependent of the Yorkes, whom Old Lace is born to protect. Hides Old Lace, and confides in her how excluded she feels by the rest of the team, which they have in common. Then they make out. Old Lace is reintroduced to the party when she runs up to be by Molly's side, making Gert jealous. Now it's a heptagon. Problem solved.

....Old Lace and Molly make out? It's so bad. Don't give them ideas they might use.

The changes you made are absolutely amazing, and I think this is your best episode thus far.If it was like this it would be actually amazing.What also could have been cool is if there were also a MoonKnight reference ,but then the whole sequence would have felt bloated

Marvel Studios should absolutely hire you as a writer. And nightlight as a writer for DC as well. You're can make movies and/or tv shows. You give each treatment of your rewrites are much interesting then the actual movie or tv show. Great channel.

Yup, wasn't on board with the last couple videos as much as this one. This is 100% better for me. As a lover of Daredevil from his appearance in recent comics, his first season and his altered villain counterpart in the (616?) spider gwen universe I WANT to be excited about all of these netflix shows but all in all without seeing the defenders yet I gotta say from this description i'm down with all of what has been posed here. Solid choices!

Dude!!! That was an awesome post-credits-scene idea!! Really wish they'd gone with that instead of the dumb stuff they pulled. Loved your BvS death rule lol.

Your idea for the post credit scene was brilliant! Honestly speaking most fans would already expect Daredevil to survive the collapsing rubble, so I agree with you wholeheartedly Nando, the screen time at the end was a bit of a waste. Your suggestion for introducing Bullseye however, *chills* I'm really loving your videos man, I'm considering becoming a Patreon donor, keep up the good work!
