The Fight Song Campaign

'Stand with Ward' began in the spring of 2014 as a way of showing that we were choosing to still believe in good triumphing over evil. We created this hashtag, because we needed a safe haven for fans to voice their love for Grant Ward and to show our support for Brett Dalton who has received an unnecessary amount hate over the last 2 years for playing a fictional character on television.
Over the last year, our hashtag has made its way into an Agents of SHIELD webisode and a season finale. Despite all our efforts and our accomplishments, there are still people out there who don't understand why it is that we have chosen to Stand with Ward. This video is a PSA to answer that question once and for all.
Thank you to the fifty Ward Warriors who volunteered to be a part of this PSA. We wish we could have fit all the Ward Warriors in this short video, but time constraints did not allow us to do so. Please know that you are all important and this video is a representation of you all as well. We could not have done any of this without your constant love and support. We hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it. Please feel free to share it with anyone you wish and always remember why we Stand with Ward.

Aww so sweet and I loved Brett and Melissa's response :) I just hope now it doesn't turn out that Ward's brother was telling the truth and grant was the abusive one would ruin everything then. But as this is Joss Whedon he can take some one to the lowest place and still redeem them I mean look at Spike and Angel in BtVS. I promised myself I wouldn't get emotional, but yet here I am crying my eyes out at how touching this is. I stand with Ward because he is my favorite character. Like everyone else, he deserves a chance. And, I believe that the "heroes" of the story are wrong. When they discovered that Ward, an important member of the team, was actually HYDRA, judged him even knowing his motives, they not tried to save him. Now act as if he were an animal, not a person who saved their ass so many times in the first season. I hope the Grant show them (in season three) as he's deeply broken and that the team was also responsible for this. And of course, I hope he has actually surpassed the Skye, which, unlike Kara, easily accepted the "monster" (I disagree with the term) that Ward is #HailHYDRA #HailHYDRANewHead #HailWard #GrantWard #GrantDouglasWard #AgentsOfSHIELD
