Many Spaniard's have "brown" melanin, they are not all pasty white. Julio Iglesias, Enrique's father, has an olive complexion even though he darkens it with a tan. That is to say, Enrique didn't inherit anything from his scant 1/4 filipino ancestry. He looks 100% Spanish. Regarding Enrique's mother, she is far from being Spain's most beautiful celebrity. Over the years, she's had tons of plastic surgery to europeanize her face and she is only a celebrity because she married Enrique's father, Julio.

there are many ethnics in the Philippines. One is the native Tagalog, Bajau: Sea People, people who are Chinese descendants, the descendants of Spanish mix..because Spain ever occupied the Philipines long time ago, Moro people and others. If a white man for example marries the one who is a Chinese descendant the result may probably differ. Just my opinion.

I think that one of the reasons why Filipinos are inclined to be proud of person/s with Filipino blood is because the Philippines used the right of blood specially in defining once citizenship that's why if you have a Filipino blood you almost consedered Pinoy/Filipino whether you acknowledge it or not. just my opinion.

Not all,but really because I know these two Acknowledges that they are part Filipino somehow. what I mean is there are certain perceptions that to some pinoys when you have pinoy blood you already part of the group/race.

Because based on the Philippine law you are a Filipino citizen if one or both of your parents are Filipinos even though you were born overseas but here in the US once you are born here no matter what is the race or nationality of your parents you are automatically a US citizen. Proud Pinoy halfie here.
