Personally my guess for why they had Daisy but not Toadstool is that A) maybe they didn't realize these are two different princesses and B) nobody in the West aside from the games' localization team(s) knew her name was Peachy in Japanese, just that her title was Princess Toadstool. Also, Mario was dating Pauline in the original plot of Donkey Kong. It was implied in Super Mario Land that he and Daisy had romantic interest in each other, even if Daisy later found she was more compatible with his brother. Also, dating isn't marrying or even being engaged; even if Mario and Peach are dating, they're clearly not in a committed relationship.

I saw this video already, but couldn't quite comment on it, but now I can say this was quite an essay. I know a lot of people hate this movie while others don't think it's that bad nowadays. I didn't watch the movie, and am unsure if I ever want to see it, but I did see Illumination's movie last night, and I thought it was pretty good (close to great, even). Can't wait for the comparison when you make an essay for that movie, whether you see it in theaters or wait for the streaming/digital release.

❤❤❤ i love this movie, as a kid back in 93' i was so hyped when i 1st seen the trailer and the movie's poster art. This movie will always be my guilty pleasure. im glad somebody tells the brighter side of this movie.
