Everyone seen this childhood…. A wonderful island with sweet tales that never ends ?… Everyone seen it when they were a child was a absolute joyous, but time went by why no one is wondering why the trains were alive instead saying how good is the show ? I always question the show how trains been introduce to be more and more but instead they never answer how they been made or to be just suddenly to be alive. We love Thomas and his friends , we always bring a smile with joyful memories of it , but sadly the series discontinued with the models set. We all love Thomas the blue tank engine, he was a friend to all of us but no is saying or questioning why or how they were alive . Goodbye friends , you did made my childhood memories a fun blast.

I sure loved these seasons when growing up. I still do as an adult, but now that I've grown and become both wiser and smarter, I've come to only like the first 7 seasons of the model series as hit just didn't know what they were doing eith the show and ended up ruining things for Thomas between 2004 & 2012. They still managed to do some good, but in the end, Britt and her team did a fantastic job with the first 7 seasons of one of my favorite tv shows from childhood.

Where did you find all this music? Edit: this is extremely lovely since Thomas does indeed has been a part of the autistic community, a study in 2002 showed that Thomas has pushed autism development that experts deemed impossible. I am autistic myself and seeing this takes me back to those sweet times where I would just be in my room playing with my toy trains and I would just be somewhere entirely but it also takes me back to the dark ages too, where I was stuck in silence because of difficulty in communication, it was hard asking for simple things but because of Thomas, words started coming out and that stunned my parents until they talked to a bunch of people and were able to translate what I was really saying. Got me through my primary years of school too cause of my inability to socialise because I couldn’t understand emotion, the still faces were a learning experience and it was easy to replicate. Mattel has entered an autistic engine in the ring so once the episode with it comes around I’ll take a look at it and see if it’s any good. If not then I will be very angry.

And then there's me who would only talk by scripting entire episodes of Thomas word for word and in a British accent (I had some videotapes of the OLD series 1 where Ringo Starr was the narrator so that was where I picked up the British accent even though I didn't know what an accent was back then) 😅 Also Bruno the Brake Car in the new series (the autistic character) is adorable and I for one relate to him a lot as an autistic person myself.

There are no sets preserved today to our knowledge. Each set was built, filmed on, and then taken apart to build the next set. The closest we have to a preserved set is Great Waterton at Drayton Manor, but that set was rebuilt for the display so it technically doesn’t count.

Certainly for series 1 and 2, the filming method was that every single shot that was needed on each set was planned ahead then filmed in one block (with the snow scenes left till last, as there was no way to clean them up afterwards), with the sets then immediately cannibalised to make the next set. There was neither the space nor the budget to retain anything. That's why even series 2 looks completely different to series 1.

If the creators agree to remake parts of the show without the crashes, accidents, drivers and firemen, the characters can learn the same life lessons a different way, the situations and hazards with them still on the rails within, before and after them can be spared, so can the scenes with no driver and/or fireman upon them, the songs will have different lyrics and one will be retitled and the Runaway Theme can suit a pursuing rescue, and lots of the old cars and temporary new characters from the live-action model episodes can partake in the CGI episodes and the cartoon; here's a hint; Stepney returned to the show by the cartoon and the cartoon really did stage itself as the show's next segment due to Nia the African Engine still enjoying working with Thomas, Percy, James and the others on Sodor and Ashima the Indian Tank Locomotive returned too.

I grew up with the Thomas and Friends show, becoming a train fan myself. But, after years of digging the crashes, accidents and characters' drivers and firemen, the creators yearned to reuse the lack of the drivers and firemen in the characters' cabs when they created the cartoon version of the series; half of it resembled Thomas and the Magic Railroad. The music is a little catchy from the classic and modern model episodes.
