These are the last 10 minutes of PSU, and the GMs goodbye messages. This game was so good. It lived long, and I got addicted. Thank you to all that joined me in missions and watched my KZbin videos. The phantasy star online series had more soul than any other mmo. It wasn't just some random cookie cutter online rpg. It was a game that started out with "Nice to meet you," and not "850 gear score only," or "what's your raid achievements?" Seriously, I'm going to be 37 in 2 weeks...that's a long fucking time to miss a game that defined more than a coming of age for me. It gave me a wife, and eventually, a son. I haven't made lots of friends since I'm pretty anti-social (I AM Vegeta after all, lol) but the ones I remember...Ammeroth, Sailor Venus, Coco....and Yulie. You will live on in my memory forever. When the Japanese & Xbox 360 server went down I actually cried because PSO & PSU had been apart of my life for so long and a lot of great friends were made! Having your own customizable room where people can visit, your own store, leveling up weapons hoping they dont break. I remember being very upset the day the game was shutting down. I had lagged out a few hours before, and couldn't get back on. While trying my best to figure out how to get back on, I found out SEGAC shut off the ability to log in, hours before they shut down the server. Lots of people were locked out. I haven't played PSU, but it reminds me of when the PSO Dreamcast's EU server closed in 2004. All the farewells I bid to my friends, All the Guild Cards I have collected on my VMU. I will never forget them. It's sad closure is a common fate to Net-Games especially losing contact with friends whom you may never meet again.

It's both good and sad that I didn't play this game for years and wasn't heartbroken after the servers shut down. It's good because I wasn't exposed to this moment, therefore I was spared the heartbreak. I remember playing Phantasy Star Universe when it first came out back when I must've been like 5 or 6 years old. Being 17 and dropping Xbox 360 made this such a tear jerker for me. Now as a depressed adult, seeing this nostalgia really just makes me wish I could go back in time at least for a day.... An hour even... I miss it so much. I'm tearing up a bit. Didn't level up fully but I had a wonderful time for the 3 years that I played. Female Beast, Lv48 CresentStone. I wish I could re-live it all. Even though people spammed like nuts and acted a bit childish 90% of the time, I had fun. Sitting in a party for many hours, relaxing, laughing, and being random. I haven't played PSU much because paying for it from brazil was nightmare, but the little I managed was great... I wasn't there when servers shut down, but I had a similar experience with Final Fantasy XIV. That game had a similar end, and got substituted by another one with the same name, same look, and none of the soul. It was one of those old games that had people working together to achieve anything, and bonds formed in the community. It was so cooperative, and alive.... I miss PSO, FFXI on it's heyday (sometimes a quick death is better than rotting away slowly) and FFXIV 1.2, so I can feel you guys...

Clementine Server is up, if you plan to join, go to there official website, where you can download and play the game. So far its doing very well, and a lot of the content from this Main Game was ported to Clementine Server. I joined yesterday and the community reminds me so much of the good old days. I'm going to enjoy it to its fullest. More updates will be added to Clementine Server, and remember that if you do play, the Server, it is not 100% completed, but its starting to get close to finishing. Damn, to think it's basically been 2 years or so since the game shut down.. I won't lie, I used to be quite immature at times on the game, but even that being the case, I had made a lot of friends on the game. Some people loved me, some people hated me, I actually think that was okay, because everyone did things that they thought was either right or wrong. On PSU, 360 only of course, I was Ayumi Fujisaki, that immature troll who at times would be bad, or simply good, because I did care a lot about people I didn't even know, but alas, I made mistakes & I feel part of what helped me grow up to be a bit wiser was PSU, it was those times on the game that had taught me more of my responsibilities in life & I'm proud to say I played it, not too proud of saying that people hate me, but I won't exclude that at all, I'll be honest. I miss this game, I honestly do. I'm 18 now & even I realize that if if I was able to play the game, hopefully the private servers of Clementine, I would simply just want to talk to people & hear of how they're doing because it's been so long. Times change & people change, so I'm kind of glad to say I'm different than how I was before, although.. that makes me seem kind of full of myself, but it is 5am, I'm having a trip down memory lane & I sure don't know what to feel besides a mixture of happy & sad right now xD

Wow! I had some special times with Phantasy Star Universe. But near the end of the game's life I had a lot going on and didn't play as much as I would have liked. However I did make it back for the final day. I've hardly looked back at PSU..I've only looked at the Raffon Meadow theme on here sometimes. It surprisingly might be my favorite track of the entire Phantasy Star series. My biggest surprise however, is seeing that I'm actually in this video at the four-minute 13-second mark. Good times. ❤️

Man I played the hell out of the single player on PS2 and xbox360, but I only played the free lvl 15 demo tho I got hundreds of hours out of that. I subbed for 2 months and that was it because I was so broke and my family was poor. Even then this series etched itself in my brain forever. PSP a d psp2 helped, I wish they added the psp2 shields, blocking and dodging to psu online and kept it going. I pop my head into the Clementine server every now and again but it's not the same. Pso2 isn't nearly as good and NGS is a joke ATM.

I left long before the server shutdown but I have such good memories of this game. I remember being part of some sort of underground trading mafia that was pumping out Agito Repcas and flipping them for some ungodly amount of profit - for working with them I got to keep some of the goods for myself, so I just kinda had Agito Repcas and other really rare gear and I was the cool kid on the block. And I remember working so hard to get GUARDIANS Formalwear and actually getting the exact colorway I wanted and being so hype for that... Simpler times. God, I miss being a kid sometimes.

I didn't get to be there for the end. My service ran out the day before and I didn't renew it. So many hours on Xbox 360 spent playing this game. So many late nights. Summer vacation after I graduated from high school in 2011 was a blur of PSU, staying up late, waking up early, just psyched to play with friends I made through this game that are still on my friends list. I miss my Beast named Vincent, my CAST named XIII and my Newman named Raven. I miss my bar themed room with "Burning Rangers" playing.There were days I logged on just to sit in there and listen. Karaoke night at the club on the Guardians Colony with my friends in an Xbox Live party. Gaming for me has gone downhill since Phantasy Star Universe shut down it's online servers, and nothing has ever compared to it. Ever since that point, nothing has come close. SEGA needs to get their heads out of their asses and bring Phantasy Star back to the US for good. If they bring Phantasy Star to back to us for the Next-Gen Consoles (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, etc), then I am set. Just moderate and update it, bring new missions.every now and then, keep the servers running good and I am set. Seriously. #BringBackMyPhantasyStarExperience

I still come back to this video once in awhile, this game was everything back in the day. I could never explain the feeling of getting on to play and I never felt the same about any game after. And playing Pso2 brought it all back and now with genesis in 2021 I’m beyond excited 👍🏼

I never played Phantasy Star online before nor Part 2 but I want too. watching your video of the last minutes of Phantasy Stars online together with players you played and met on your journey it's a horrible thing and even though I didn't play it just watching everyone saying their farewells, meeting up with all of their friends and people they met, just trying to enjoy the final time limits together as one. I felt sad and this kind of emotion that is like dam this sucks it's our last time together. I felt the same way when the company terminated the online servers for White Knight Chronicles. I wasn't there but not being able to say good bye to the players I've met and played together sucks. It was fun playing with them all. Hey Gamer Time i REconmend that you KEEP this video forever because it was great memories with all of the players you've met and the final time together with them all. This is the final Memories of Phantasy Star Online.

I was heartbroken when i first heard it was getting shut down :( i met some of the greatest people on this game, i loved the community, i loved running all them white beast missions :) and most of all i loved all my friends who i met. This was my first MMORPG. And still the game I'm fondest of. I used to love events like MAG and the Parum Festival. Even the friends I made through this game still to this day are some of the ones I'm closest with. Although this game is now just a memory, and still no word on the private server there still are the portable versions (specifically PSUP2) that will go online and somewhat emulate the experience again. This game will always live on through the love of its fan-base and the memories its left behind. You'll never be forgotten Phantasy Star Universe. ^_^
