My hero academia was my first anime, my twin brother was the one who recommended too me, and at first I didn’t listen to him because I thought anime was just weird and inappropriate, but then he showed me a clip of ALLMIGHT’s United States smash, and I was blown away, then then showed me a clip of hero’s rising, then the mirio Vs. overall, even though I didn’t know what was going on, I was facilitated. By the time season 6 ended, I decided to watch in the middle of the night, and the moment I heard “you too, can become a hero”, i new I was gonna love this series, a series that was inspirational and full of hope. It took me 2 weeks to finish MHA and catch up to season 6, and I ended rewatching it immediately. Including the movies. Then I decided to catch up to the manga, it was hard to find a website to read manga, and that how I found your channel. Every time I heard news about the manga, I just keep watching my phone, waiting for a notification of a new video discussing the new chapters, thank you for making my first manga experience great. I have now found a good website to read the full manga, and I’m thinking about rereading the hole series. It has been only a year since I started watching anime. I’ve seen many series like frieren, toradora, Oshi no ko, jjk, loves is war. But MHA is the only series we’re I keep coming back to, I still keep watching my favorite scenes. This ending is not what I wanted, but I still enjoyed it (I thought we were gonna get a time skip we’re eri powers have been restored and bring DEKU’s powers back, but then I realized that it should be like what the first user said, it time for them to rest). There has never been another series that brought back to my childhood days like MHA, thank you so much horikoshi, you deserve your accomplishment and a good rest, thank MY HERO ACADEMIA, your world was amazing, your characters were amazing, and your story was inspiring. Sure it had a few ups and downs, but later in the future I can still see these series being my favorite. GO BEYOND… PLUS ULTRA!!!

Thank you for covering these chapter reviews for MHA! Looked forward to hearing about the newest chapters each time I received a notification. It was a great break from all the noise of the world to be submerged in a manga that prompts conversation through spoilers and possible story theories. A big plus was enjoying the growth of the characters, seeing and hearing the bad and good guys stories and determining who the true hero’s are. I loved the manga and the series and once all series are complete;will watch it over again. It's finally here and to be honest I liked this ending, is it the perfect ending I imagined? no, I wanted something more complete with Midoriya maintaining OFA and other quirks to continue acting like a hero in the long run, but I was still satisfied. Of course, it could still be better and have more complements (which may come in the last volume) but it seems that Midoriya really created a new era of peace with the end of OFA and AFO, in addition to the heroes and the civilians contributing more, like Uraraka and even Midoriya himself, with knowledge and intelligence. he can still act as a hero using armor that replicates his powers since crimes have decreased etc., it's a bittersweet ending so to speak but I enjoyed following the manga from beginning to end, MHA is not perfect and has qualities and flaws like any other manga but I can say that I finish this story with a sincere, simple and truly smile on my face, thank you very much for everything Kohei Horikoshi!

Especially since the original ending is too sad or tragic, it would be wonderful if the anime could offer a more positive and hopeful ending. If it’s any consolation, that panel of them walking in the snow alone does imply there’s something in the air with them. Having intimate conversations in the snow often spells out romance in a lot of media. Would’ve preferred a concrete confirmation but ik how unhinged the shipping part of the fandom could get so it was the safest option for Horikoshi. We take what we can get. There’s also a chance for additional panels when the final volume (Volume 42) is available for purchase. There’s always hope. 🙂

I feel so disappointed, such an incomplete ending. Bro lost his powers, his girl, his friends, his fame, and on top of that works a damn 9-5. #1 hero my ass smh. For the love of god we did not need a Japanese Iron Man. We needed adult Deku controlling OFA at 100% and becoming the #1 hero the start of the story led us to believe he’d be. That way he could’ve continued competing with shoto and Bakugo for the #1 spot.

Hey man! Thank you so much for covering this up all these years! I found anime through you and your mha videos, (looks like someone cracked my algorithm) . Your style and humor always get to me. To be honest, this isn't a bad ending at all. With Horikoshi wanting it to be a Terminator 2-esqe ending, I think he got that. It's like looking at the final spread, and then making up your own story from your imagination from there. Mha like other mangas's had so many ups and downs. But the best part about this manga wasn't its storyline, it was its characters. Maybe that's why when many people saw the ending, they didn't like it, It was because they didn't wanna let go. I didn't cry at all during the chapter. But for some reason when i saw the last spread, I saw Aoyama, and went oui oui boy is back, then stated how cool ojiro was, as soon as I looked at Sero I started tearing up. As I went by each of them as adults, I started crying. Thank you So much once Again! And hopefully, we get some good news, to start a new journey once again

I only started watching your reviews at the end, but i don't regret it. I started watching chapter reviews around the last 3rd of the 1st war. I liked the guy i was originally watching....until i didn't. I was getting sick of his growing negativity, wierd expectations and stupid theories until i had enough and looked for someone else. And that's how i found you. I like that your straight to the point and don't add useless fluff, unlike the previous reviewer i watched who would go on side tangents about nonsense and complain for a few minutes before continuing. Mha was and still is my most favourite anime. I started to watch the anime a year ago, and was so interested that I started to search up videos on the manga. That’s how I found out about your channel. I was able to read/listen to most of the manga thanks to you, I loved your narrations a lot and how funny you are. Just wanted to thank you first of all. Second, thank you to the creator of the manga for this wonderful story, I REALLY enjoyed it through and through. Side note a little, but I actually was avoiding reading the last two chapters of the manga because I didn’t want it to end. But then I was like, no I have to finish it. Anyway, I’m so happy I was able to read/watch the anime/manga. And I can’t wait to see the anime adaptation, so that I can immerse myself again in the story. 😊 😭

Thanks for all the chapter summaries. This series was kind of rough during the final war and the ending wasn't exactly what I wanted, but that goes for many series like demon slayer for example. Seeing everyone grown up really struck a chord for me and I I we could have seen more but the mystery of what happened next is nice. Thanks Horikoshi for such an amazing series to grow up watching

Thanks a lot, Lunchtime Crew You've earned another sub, and we are looking forward to reviews for more anime like these Honestly, MHA started off as my escape from Dragon Ball changing in ways that I did not like, but then it slowly became the only anime I would watch. Not everyone would be happy with how MHA ended, and that's alright, for me, OFA ending with AFO was the perfect ending (Basically what I predicted a year ago as well). Also, I wish Horikoshi plans on making series or movies on all OFA users and how they fought AFO... over the coming years, if he has the patience for it

I think it the ending was great too, i only wish the chapter was much longer but im overall fine with the ending. Sadly, because of how overhated MHA is and how the ending went, people are disappointed about it. Although Bleach had a disappointing ending too (i haven't finished Bleach i just know alot of ppl don't like the ending) alot of ppl still love it and i think that after a while people will appreciate the ending of My Hero for what it is.

It's like Spider Man, where he never gets a happy ending or happiness that is happening to Izuku. Spider Man and Izuku are Characters that don't get happiness or are able to get the chance to live normally with their friends and family, which is very sad. And that is what's happening to them and how their writers hate Their own Main Character/Hero they don't want them to be happy. That is just unfair. I want Izuku to be happy and able to live his dream. 🕷💚 I love Spider Man and Izuku I just want them to get the Love and Respect that they both deserve. 🕷💚

I see the comments about the ending being underwhelming and to you I say WHY? That was a beautiful ending! It showed that life has ups and downs, and Midoriya couldn’t hold onto that power forever. But the heart, the reason why he was given OFA in the first place, was still alive and well. And technology DOES evolve over time. I love seeing what the older versions of them have gotten up to, and their design changes as adults, for example, Mina having longer hair, and MOMO with support gear on her head with a haircut (if I’m seeing correctly.) Just general, overall I loved the way he brought this all to the end, it was beautiful and heartwarming and it made me smile. I will miss waiting for those next chapters, but I love seeing Horikoshi’s completed work. This was 430 chapters of journey, and I was glad to be here for at least the last few years of it.

Deku after Saving the world loses his powers he worked hard for, just gets cut off and forgotten by all his friends including his love interest, is a literal nobody now and just a school teacher, he doesn't have a single statue and isn't even a hero, he isn't recognized At All by the world or seen as the symbol of peace, feels lonely. And that's a satisfying ending to you? Especially when he said at the beginning this is a story of how he became the world's greatest hero and everyone was hyping him up to be the next symbol of peace? In what way is that a satisfying ending?

You literally forgot the fact that at the beginning it was stated that this was a story about HIM becoming the greatest hero. Then we get an ending about how THEY became the greatest heroes 😭🙏
