Amazing how close the cams were percentage wise. The average of the average HP was 543.6, the average of the average TQ was 517.6. 17 cams were within 1% of the average hp average, 18 cams were within 1% of the average tq average. Unless chassis setup and driver ability was identical you might not see that on the track. NK was 2.6% over the average hp average, 2.6% over the average tq average. No one was more than 2% under the average hp and tq averages.

After looking at all these results I’ve come to the concconclusion that the majority of car guys are probably over spinning their engines and would possibly , improve thier drag strip times by shifting sooner , nice job to all the competitors and thanks for putting in the work Eric . That was quite a task

Normally you'll run quicker shifting 500-1000 rpm over the power peak depending on rpm drop of the shifts.

Great job Eric! That was an epic cam shoot-out and should keep stimulate a lot of discussion about the results. I was surprised by how many cams in the mid-pack posted similar good results; it makes me think that most competitors in that range knew what they were doing.

excellent job! too bad it wont keep the know it all arm chair never built an engine, only know what they read/hear people quiet. we know they wont. now they are even more educated in more stupidity to bark about. obviously there are guys out there that KNOW what they are doing. as NK spokesperson said on here, gentle ramps obviously work well. so many cams so close in specs. cant help but wonder how much of the differences is related to ramps being slightly too aggressive.
