Most productive sermon, I’ve heard, in a very long time. Like bike riding on the Sabbath? hearing it said, E G White wrote that (advise? or thus saith the Lord?) for her time? Are there opinions or direct statements only for her time? She also writes directly to people “so and so” - who lived in her day, close with her. I believe E. G. White because I have read some of her books and know very well that she lived to love Jesus Christ our Saviour. We can learn lessons from all of God’s light: lesser, greater, or greatest. Definitely, the Holy Spirit has been given to lead and guide us into all truth. If it weren’t for Mrs. White (my best earthly friend), I would have left the church a long time ago. These specific writings are why I do not leave… *It looks like the church is going to fall but it doesn’t* *God has given us a mind, use it!* But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Isaiah 49:14, 15. Satan will work his miracles to deceive; he will set up his power as supreme. The church may appear as about to fall, but it does not fall. It remains, while the sinners in Zion will be sifted out-the chaff separated from the precious wheat. This is a terrible ordeal, but nevertheless it must take place. None but those who have been overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony will be found with the loyal and true, without spot or stain of sin, without guile in their mouths.... The remnant that purify their souls by obeying the truth gather strength from the trying process, exhibiting the beauty of holiness amid the surrounding apostasy.44SDA Bible Commentary 7:911. I know that the Lord loves His church. It is not to be disorganized or broken up into independent atoms. Our Saviour understood all about human nature, and He says to every human being. “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” As God is perfect in His sphere, so man is to be perfect in his sphere. Those who receive Christ are among the number to whom the words so full of hope are spoken. “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” These words declare to us that we should be content with nothing less than the best and highest character, a character formed after the divine similitude. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17. 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Philippians 1:6-7 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.” Hebrews 13:5: "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee". The SDA sadly has reached it's hand to clasp with Rome (another EW prophecy and embraced the Ecumenical movement. They also pushed the jab, even on church grounds on Sabbath. Conrad Vine is right. They need to apologise and get rid of the Conference individuals who have led the church astray. The Testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of Prophecy Rev 19:10 Nor Ellen White.

I'm a seventh day Adventist myself why do we bind Elen G white to the bible for John the revelator told us about these things to come it is said if it's not in the bible don't believe it because the bible is the word of God and it' tells us not to add or takeaway from the bible so why aren't we talking about revelation were it talks about the end time's and where the apostles also wrote about yes it does say that people will have dreams and visions yes but let's go to the Bible alone the book that is God's book.

Paul was referring to old testament writings and perhaps no white's writings. Of course White's writings were done in the 19th century. Paul was writing in the 1st century.

Everything was fine until the gentleman said at 26 minutes ''don't listen to (people) if what they say doesn’t agree to the Bible, or Ellen White's writings''. He just EQUALED Ellen's writings with the Bible. No. She was still a human. So, I stopped watching this video.

Ellen White's Testimonies is as inspired as any other prophet. She is in a large way the fulfillment of the testimony of Jesus, or the prophetic gift in the remnant church... Revelation 12:17. All those that have issues with the testimonies do so because they love sins which she reveals and rebukes - simple.

Satan is ... constantly pressing in the spurious-to lead away from the truth. The very last deception of Satan will be to make of none effect the testimony of the Spirit of God. “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). Satan will work ingeniously, in different ways and through different agencies, to unsettle the confidence of God's remnant people in the true testimony.-Letter 12, 1890. 1SM 48.3 There will be a hatred kindled against the testimonies which is satanic. The workings of Satan will be to unsettle the faith of the churches in them, for this reason: Satan cannot have so clear a track to bring in his deceptions and bind up souls in his delusions if the warnings and reproofs and counsels of the Spirit of God are heeded.-Letter 40, 1890.

SDA would do well to concentrate on the Bible and the Bible alone. EGW is a non player when it comes to doctrine and truth - it's all in the Bible. Ted Wilson is fighting an uphill battle with SDA re Ellen White because more and more of us are about the Bible and the Bible only.

MaxMax. I personally love her writings and I believe she is far more important than many of us SDAs want to admit. Yes she can be used inappropriately but her gift is still a huge treasure. I know she has only been a blessing when used correctly. He actually addressed misuse of SOP during his Q&A session...

@@kenneth4849 The Spirit of Prophecy is the Bible, not EGW. Read 2 Peter 1:19-21. The remnant church are a great group of people who are all born again.
