' The Greatest Fighting Anime Of All Time. ' Kengan Ashura is one of those anime that doesn't really on the story as much as it does on the characters and fights. In both of these aspects, the anime was Perfect. The characters were almost all realistic and well-written, the main and second characters. In terms of fights, it was on another level. There were more than 40 fights in the anime, and each fight was literally different and special from the other. Most of Kengan Ashura's fights are Masterpieces, I never get tired of them no matter how many times I watch them. The production, directing, voice acting, and music were all great. Kengan Ashura is simply a Fighting Masterpiece that is very hard to replicate in the anime world. My rating for Kengan Ashura as a Fighting Anime is definitely 10/10.

I love Kengan, i feel this series was the next big step in my anime journey, after watching the first season i just had to watch more series like it, that got me in to Baki, Record of Ragnarok and all the other fighting series i watch/read. I'm sad to see it end, but at the same time i'm happy that over so that every one can watch this great series from begining to end, hope Kengan Omega comes out one day.

Amazing series . I was a bit sore from the ending. I loved the flashbacks , some fight scenes and fighters inner thoughts during the fights, while calculating next counter even while being in denial while getting koed. It's just amazing. The ending of oma was heartwarming 😢

As someone who experienced Kengan exclusively through the anime, I gotta say the two Cosmo fights had to be my favorites in the series. All of Ohma's official fights in this season were amazing and showcased just how much they have grown as fighters as how he has grown as a person. His relationship with Kazuo to me went from being the most annoying to my all time favorite element of Kengan Ashura. This final season was absolutely amazing.

I respect your opinion. But for me, Kengan Ashura was a perfect masterpiece as a Manga and as an Anime. I agree that there were things that were better in the manga than the anime, such as fights that were shortened or removed. But despite this, the manga actually had a lot of details and side characters that weren't really important. The anime did the right thing by removing them from the story and change some things and add other things in the tournament, this made the anime more exciting and made the experience of watching Kengan Ashura different from the manga. I actually think that the worst thing a studio can do when adapting any manga is to take it exactly as it is, one by one. I mean just look at Baki, 99% of the Baki anime is exactly like the manga, without any changes at all. This made the Baki experience kind of boring, because everything I read in the manga is literally the same thing in the anime, frame by frame, without any changes or additions. That's why I say that both of Kengan Ashura's Manga and Anime were great, but each one in their own way.

While I too hated 2D animation at first overtime, I understood that 2D animation didn't stand a chance in HELL to deliver the same weight and depth to any of the fights or characters the 3D just has a way to bring everything to live and make the characters intimidating, look me straight in the eye and tell me that the 2D Ohma or Ryan that we saw in Baki vs Kengan movie look better than the 3D versions.

All things considered, the cuts were annoying but they weren't terrible. I'm still very bummed out that they totally axed Rin because I loved her angle in the series. Retsudo too! Even just a simple introduction would have worked wonders. I really hope we get Omega sooner rather than later because I can just see THAT color spread moment on the big screen.

In my opinion, compared to Baki. Kengan Ashura is 100x better than Baki. Literally in every aspect you can think of. The fights, the story, the characters, the world, the production, the music, the direction, the art style, the character design, the martial arts, the action.... basically everything. I give Baki at best a 7/10. Whereas Kengan Ashura I definitely give it a 10/10.

This was my first time experiencing Kengan Ashura , I never read the manga, and in my opinion I think waiting 5 years and waiting to see ohmas backstory just to have him die in the end was just terrible they don’t hint at what’s next just that everybody’s training and we probably won’t get another Kengan anime for another 5 years

Thanks for explaining 8:15. Gensen, just didn'tseem that strong to me. Plus they hever showed how ohma actually injured niko. So having him fight 3 in a row like that does make sense to me now. If anything, the anime had it seem like it was tiger niko that actually defeated ohma. Gensen, was e8ther never around or was dead at that point.

They actually took four years to drop it. We all sat there wondering who was going to win the tournament being fully aware that we could have just read the Manga to find out but we didn't want to spoil the surprise for ourselves. I am locked into the Kengan saga. But after a while the story has gotten a bit boring and repetitive. Too many clones, too many false boss reveals. It lost me. So at this current point jumping back to the manga, hopefully the story moves along with Shen, Ohma, and the two newer characters. I forgot their names. But one of them being the newest clone that looks like Ohma.

This series ended In the worst way possible. Ohma dying just feels so fake and rushed as if they had to cut the project or something, he doesn’t even take the win on his final fight and there’s other characters that didn’t die even though they withstood worst damage than him. And also they made it seem like the conflict between ohma and the gay creepy dude was going to be way more important than what it ended on being. Like I say this season and the ending feels rushed asf. And the Kure girl that liked ohma ended up feeling like a character without a purpose non other than being annoying.
