It's the final day of Pokémon GO Fest in New York City! We catch a ton of amazing Shinies and do our FIRST ever Meet-Up! It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you! Plus we visited the Statue of Liberty to see how the event was out there!

JT - it was so great to meet you in person on Sunday as you arrived at Bryant Park. You were so great to spend time with my brother, my friend, and me (I was the one in the big hat). You are so genuine and friendly. I got 3 shiny Heatmors over the three days of the event - 2 in the wild and one from an egg. The one thing that eluded me and my brother was the shiny orange Flabébé. But happy that I got pretty much everything else I wanted. Had a fantastic time, but walking around in that heat was brutal! We had some crazy luck on Monday morning - my brother and I took a walk to use our adventure incense and randomly caught a hundo Bouffalant! Looking forward to Global and hoping to finally get a shiny Corsola and Rockruff. Good luck to you next weekend, and thanks again for stopping to chat with us. 😊

Meeting JT at the meetup was so great as an og fan I really hoped that such a child hood figure of mine would be as nice as he was in his videos and he was! Despite the crowd he gave me a photo, an autograph, and caught a shiny unknown d for me. Despite JT not being as popular on KZbin as some of the other creators, he puts in so much work and effort while still being a really good guy. I ended up getting 4 shiny Heatmor during the 3 days of NYC Go Fest, one of which was actually the only shiny I hatched all weekend 😅 had good shiny luck in general though including a 93% shiny Buzzwole with the location card on the Brooklyn Bridge! So cool - glad you had a good event!

I felt that they should have made those easier to catch. They broke out a lot- and it was hard to catch with super sweaty hands on overheating phones. No shade to those that missed or had it jump out. Niantic could have brought out beast balls for the event knowing they were giving heat advisory warnings….

Every Pokemon Go anniversary year Niantic had created a poster. Some of the Pokemon diagrams in the poster hint will make a debut within about one year but some of them are not true. For example, Pokemon in the past few years poster like Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y and Mimikyu are not debut yet in Pokemon Go. How about the Pokemon Go anniversary poster when Pokemon Go is going to shut down? Definitely one sentence in the poster. Me and some of the local trainers were talking yesterday and we didn't see where anyone showed it. I assume is about in the 200-400 range per raid completed like a mega?
