The Final Push Along the Roughest Telegraph Track in W.A.

The track from Baxter Cliffs to Twilight Cove is now very overgrown, we got about 8km in before we decided to turn back, got to the point that we were cutting down branches every 300m of so. Our Unimog is a bit bigger than most, but even a Landcruiser with a tray would struggle to get under the trees, maybe a smaller dual cab ute might make it. We filled in the last page on the little notebook, so anyone going out to the memorial, please take a new small book with you. We searched the truck but had nothing small enough to fit in the tube.

The problem with those deflation devices that remove the valve core - is exactly that! Valve cores or more specifically the tiny seal around the core, are not meant to be removed and replaced multiple times, they eventually fail and leak, more reliable to add or remove pressure using the core stem as they were designed to do. What is the big deal in taking 5 minutes longer to set your pressures, with a conventional valve gauge? First world issue me thinks.

Hey Ronney, can you maybe use your platform to address the real threat facing WA at the moment with proposed law changes that will impact those who love the outdoors. Running the gamut of fishing, shooting and 4wd. A line needs to be drawn in the sand. The more who know the better.

Really, I have no idea why you continually camp in the dark - also, you are talking up the level of difficulty quite a bit. "EPIC", "Rough as Guts", "600 km in low range". It's an easy run and you know it.

Best light for filming and photos is the sunset and sunrise times. That means to get good footage you need to be driving at those times.
