It was clear after that Quali that SSR priority Bortolotti because of the championship hunt, Feller insane battles, Kelvin & Maro not in there to push hard to finishing higher then 5th, Rast chasing down another podium starting far back in the midfield, That podium gave Schubert their next Team title in Dtm, Engstler put up a show to take his 2nd win in his career and Lambo 1-2 success, Thiim from the start hold the pack so Mirko can Drive away, Unique late consistency gave him the edge to clinched the title, Lambo first driver championship and Mirko finally the new Champ 🏁🏆🍾🎉⚡🤩

DTM NEEDS AN OVERHAUL. This is great racing. But the cars sre like gt3 cars, so its nothing new. DTM needs their own car "formula" that clearly identifies that its a DTM car. We also don't know the story of the season and this race is significant. This has exciting racing. More exciting than gt3 racing. This series can learn from liberty media and how they tutned formula 1 around. Condider adding circuit tracks in cool locations. Gt3 doesn't do that.

@@MinionInc it’s about cost so I don’t think that will ever happen again. However they could look at saloon cars rather than gt3 s like the 80/90’s ?

liberty Media despite their efforts I rather prefer their benchmark should been WEC or even Indycar I think for sure the reason the change is obvious just like with WEC GTE replacing for GT3 Cars

@@876Yad1eThis. I hate the fact that F1 ignorants have been going to other motorsports and start complaining about track limits. Do they not know that track limits are arbitrary and is dictated by the racing regulators. It is not always the same for every motorsport.

I think the 20kg of success ballast broke his neck and the Saturday quali favored the ABT Team since they were the only Team which understood the wet tires really well. On Saturday the track was damp enough on Sunday not.
