Stormfather Jacob Marley is a Christmas character and Danny is Jewish. I think he knows of A Christmas Carol but not much about the story or the characters.
@rachelladue15724 жыл бұрын
@@cmrobbins88 lol i think he probably just didnt recognize the name, nothing to do with the fact that he's Jewish. Jewish Americans aren't like, isolated from society, they still grow up in America and Christmas is a pervasive part of the culture even if you don't celebrate it. And A Christmas Carol isn't explicitly religious whatsoever, it's not like a story that only Christians ever hear during like church or something. Heck I even read it in my public school english class once. Your explanation might be a little more valid for something like the classic birth of Jesus Christmas Pageant that tons of churches do, but even that is represented in pop culture and media a bunch. But I'd be willing to bet that Dan has seen a Christmas Carol at least once given that he's over 40 years old and there's literally dozens of adaptions. Marley just isn't the most famous character from it. And I think we've well-established that they're just not that great at trivia in general lol

I just wanna say that it's the cutest thing to see Arin so excited about the Arpeegees.

The song they use in begining is Snail House - Pixel Galaxy. GG has to start crediting music they use regardless if copyright free

I thought it was pixel galaxy but it actually isnt its very similar though
@jolenemathews4 жыл бұрын
@@JuKeCon it's altered a little, but it's still the same
@GlitchDude4 жыл бұрын
@@jolenemathews No it's not altered a little, it's a different song, you can listen to them both side by side and hear the difference. Just because it's the same genre of music doesn't mean it's the same song, but of course it's gonna have similar instruments

Isn't the whole point of copyright free music is that it can be used by anyone, anywhere, anytime without the need to credit it?
@JuKeCon4 жыл бұрын
Ehh...would be cool if they did though, music is entertaining and can be a let down when it isnt mentioned in the description. Like right now, I want to know what song this is and I want others to know as well, if someone didnt know pixel galaxy and was looking for THAT specific song, they would be mildly disappointed and that person would have to search deeper in the comments for the name of the song. Edit: Sorry im really passionate about this stuff

YUS!! More GameGrumps collectibles!! 🤗
@WowItsJake4 жыл бұрын
See I'm more likely to be interested in something the Game Grumps are advertising when it's actually Arin excitedly endorsing the product like with Arpeegees rather than when he comes up with some stupid character to advertise it. Like with the new book and Soviet Jump Game. It makes me feel like they are trying to trick me for no reason when they do ads like that.

I like how the Paralympics don't have football, but they have rugby.

“Why Socialism?” was actually written by Albert Einstein because he was a hardcore socialist for his whole life from his early adulthood.

Funny enough, I knew the rock one because of Runescape. While mining ore rocks, you can find geodes that contain extra goodies.
