Like he said in the video, there is a whole team of people who work on the game. He’s a C-Level executive, and so his knowledge of some of the finer minutia is likely significantly lower than a content creator who plays the game 6+ hours a day.

Mirror Dimension into Flooding makes sense. It triggers before Flood becomes Flooding and since Flood says "you can't play here after this turn" it allows you to play. It's just code execution order. They could change it if it wasn't intended.
