The Final Stretch | Freestyle Football Documentary

A documentary about PWG, Philip Warren Gertsson, 32 year old football freestyler who has reached a crossroads in life. Continue to compete professionally? Or quit?
After 17 years of football freestyle, he has always been competing in almost every major competition world wide. But after 2 asian titles, a US Open title, a dozen smaller competition titles, it has become more difficult to stay on top. Follow along on a journey to “The Final Stretch”. The final push for greatness within football freestyle for PWG. Join him and videographer Jakob to Hiroshima, Japan for the Asia Pacific Championships.
Football freestyle is much more than just tricks with a ball and doing skills on a stage. It's a global community built around the passion for an art form. Discover the world of football freestyle through the lens of a half norwegian/half filipino freestyler in Japan.

Its surreal. I used to train 13 years ago and now coming back and training again i see all these names of freestylers who we're just little kids back then. Crazy to think that so many new freestylers don't know who Palle our Touzani was. Really sad to see that guys like Gunther, Tokura, ect have stopped competing or fallen into obscurity.

It was a different point of view, amazing video. I have a couple of questions, why you want to stay in the top of the competition even though that is really hard after 17 years participating and competing, why is so important for you, I mean, don't get me wrong, just I want to understand a bit your mindset, cause also as you said, those legendary freestylers of 10 years ago, they aren't competing or even on the community any more, so why you wanted to stay? ...
