Not everyone is religious per se. For instance, I believe in a creator but I will not back Christianity, a religion that was thrust upon Black people from a completely different continent. He felt like he had no where to turn. He was about to go to jail, he lost his brother, he murdered a friend by accident, he had alot going on mentally and alot of men dont talk about how they feel cause its viewed as weak. Despite anything hes ever done you have to remember he was just human. He has amazing music and had alot of potential but the path he was on was shakey and right and wrong got blurred. I wish he would have just reached out more to the people who loved and cared for him and that hed have known talking to someone abiut your mental health is important but i know hes in heaven now and his memory is going to go on forever. But for anyone else who feels like he did please reach out. There are people around you who care and will be there for you no mattee what youve done. Even if you arent religious but just need someone to talk to i was always told with my depression to go to the nearest church and request to speak to a priest or the confession booth, they will listen and they will talk to you regardless of your religion. if he did do that I feel for his loved ones. mental health is very real especially for ppl of color. these young ppl have so much more to deal with than the generations before them n with no support( mental, emotional & psychologically) they hold it all in ,with no way to let it out or express it in a healthy way. also no one was there n the home but him so if someone had it out for him, that would be the best way to get at him without having to face any consequences.
